Description of Work: Contacted them for a bid on some built-ins. Slow to respond. Made an appointment for them to come give me an estimate and they cancelled on me. Rescheduled for the following week and they cancelled again. Tried to reschedule but said no thanks, don't want to move my plans for a third time and be inconvenienced.

Description of Work: This project was an addition built onto an existing casita. This structure formed a courtyard area at the front of the home. The framing and construction of the addition was well done. The landscaping was efficient and without difficulty. The hardscape and electrical work was excellent. Description of Work: When we moved to Henderson, NV, our agent told us the only contractor to use was Fairless Homes. When we decided to build a casita we asked five companies to bid the project. Fairless' bid was the highest but they were the most professional and spent the time to fully understand our wants and needs and created the designs and worked with our homeowners association. We awarded them the job and were so satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship we are starting our sixth project with them. Fairless Homes is a full serve company. Here is a list of the projects they have completed and starting: • Designed and built a 496 sqft Casita • Replaced our driveway and entryway with pavers • Redesigned our laundry room to allow our washer and dryer to be flush with wall • Designed and installed new landscaping and hard scape • Designed and built outdoor kitchen and raised gas fire deck • Starting a full kitchen and media room remodel I highly recommend Fairless Homes!

+ -1 moreWe didn't dislike anything. All the work they did was a top notch. They were the only bidders. We estimated what it would be, based on what somebody else did a job on. They were right on the nose, so they were good. These were people if they were 10 minutes late, they would call, and they show when they said they would be there.

+ 1 moreBecause of the "addition" of more costs over the originall quote, we decided this was not a company to trust and stopped all contact.
Description of Work: Their initial estimate included all the requested work. This was verified during several discussions. When asked to work their numbers harder, their revised estimate was actually higher. Fairless claimed some of the work was never in the original estimate. I would ALWAYS check their estimates carefully and ALWAYS get 2nd & 3rd quotes from other contractors.

We have already referred them to one of our friends who saw the before and after and based upon the results wants Fairless to come in a do remodeling on his pool area.

+ -1 moreThe job looks fantastic. They were on time, did exactly what they said they would when they said they would. The pool deck looks fantastic. I have already referred them to one of my friends who will also use their services.
Description of Work: A previous contractor had used the wrong materials when installing the pool deck prior to us purchasing the home. The cool deck was peeling in nuimerous places and severly discolored. Fairless ground the pool deck down to the base concrete and installed new cool deck.

They put all the lawn furniture back afterward and were so quiet some mornings we didn't even know they were in our back yard! After the concrete was stripped we decided the color wasn't exactly what we expected and Lalo came out and solved the problem within hours at no extra cost. We would definite use them again

+ 2 moreRJ the owner priced out the job, the work started about 10 days later. RJ was able to obtain the tile I wanted and I save a few bucks on the tile over what I was going to pay my self. After removing the carpet he noticed that the adjacent tile was built up quite high. His guys did an awesome job matching the two tiles. I can not be happier. Sorry about the side track. The job took about 10 days his men worked from around 7 until around 5-6 each day and cleared the mess every night. The grout lines on the tile are so perfect I can not believe it, I have tiled before I am so glad I paid someone this time. From start to finish RJ answered questions, but I must say I didn't have any concerns because it went that easy. Thanks RJ

This Company excels in communications and follow through. The professionalism of the owner and his team is top notch. They treated our home like it was theirs and the workmanship and focus on excellence was impressive. Throughout the project we knew what to expect and had no issues--when does that happen? There were no surprises or hidden costs. They went above and beyond in consulting with us on the creative design aspects and ensured that every detail was treated with importance. The quality, workmanship, and timeliness was outstanding. We highly recommend them and would use them again and again.
Description of Work: As general contractor for our project, Fairless Homes completely renovated the interior of our 2300 square foot house. Included full redesign and build of interior space, knocking down walls and extending interior of home, and design/rebuilding of kitchen, bathrooms, and closets. Description of Work: I used Fairless Custom Concrete in April. We had stents concrete that was dry and we wanted to have something done to it. The driveway itself was plane concrete. They also added some work to the patio. They also painted it. It did a major job of cleaning up as well. They did a lot work.

+ 1 moreThe work turned out great, they did a great job. They did the work in a timely manner, their supervisor was always out here. The supervisor always made sure to knock on the door and ask what we thought and how they were doing. They communicated really well, it was done on time like they said and they stuck to the original price. It still looks good after a year. We felt pretty confident in the work they did. The work was probably a little higher than we expected, but the work turned out good and the quality was good.

+ -1 moreThey came out to do an estimate the day after we called them and scheduled the work to be performed 6 days later. A crew of 2 guys dug about 4-6 inches of dirt out, hauled that away, and put in forms on day 1. Day 2 they placed gravel and then poured and brushed the concrete. The job was completed in a total of about 10 hours by 2 guys. It is back breaking work and quite possibly the best $1000 we have ever spent. The finished patio looks great and matches the other one well. The clean up was pretty thorough. My only possible complaint was that they got a little bit of concrete splatter on the sliding glass door that will have to be scraped off.
Description of Work: We had this company pour a patio for us that needed to match the appearance and height of an existing adjacent patio to form a complete wrap-around patio along the back of the house.

+ 0 moreThe courtyards finish and sealer and failed after 3 years due to a another contractor not doing the job correctly . Fairless concrete did an outstanding job, very professional, excellent work, and a 4 yr warranty on the work. They cleaned up after the job was done, showed up on time and the estimate was accurate. There were two days when the weather got too windy and rainy and they called and explained why it was better to wait so the job would have a better result. I Highly recommend them and will be using them for 2 future projects on our house

They did do some damage to our irrigation system and wish they would have paid more attention to this. They have very good follow up with any concerns or questions and timely in their response.

They did excellent work and were very professional and completely cleaned up their mess when they were finished with the job. RJ Fairless and the field supervisor were continuously checking to see that everything was going well. We made several changes during the middle of the work adding extra things we wanted done and they dealt with it all without blinking an eye.
Description of Work: Poured new concert for sidewalk and cool decking; repaired old cool deck and repainted; applied stamped finish to existing patio, front porch, and front sidewalk.

+ -1 moreThe project went great. When Fairless first started they found that irrigation piping from our drip system had been placed under the existing concrete. They completely moved all pipes so that nothing was under the new and existing concrete. The work crew was very meticulous and did an outstanding job of finishing the project.
Description of Work: Fairless added concrete to our courtyard and to our back patio. They then installed a spray texture on the new and existing concrete and sealed it with two coats of polyurethane.
