DESIGNS BY US

Price was fine, neighbor had used them a few years before and had good results. So I got an estimate, went to the plant to review the material and placed the order. Cover was installed within a reasonable period of time and looked very nice.Then after a few months our first Real Vegas Rain Storm Came and it leaked at the seams. So I called the Salesmen for them to repair it and get it properly sealed. We'll it took a few months of back and forth and they finally came out to caulk it. Well another few months passed and another Rain Storm - except this time it leaked even worse. So I started calling again. After a few months I grew frustrated and sent a Registered letter, since I was about to go after the Installer/Owner and Manufacturer. So the Owner finally came out and Caulked it again and I'm hoping it works and I never have to see them again. I was also promised an extension piece for my downspout - which of course they never delivered. Not positive on exact dates since this has gone on a Long Time - however I would Never Order from them again.

I was satisfied with the patio at first, however as time went by I noticed the paint no longer matched the house. One of the Designs by Us representatives eventually came out after several phone calls. Actually the representative was late and I m not sure he would have ever shown up if not for the fact I kept calling. After the representative showed up he acknowledged the patio was 1.5 to 2 shades lighter. He said he would talk with the owner of the company and would call me back, he never did. I finally was told that he talked with the owner and that they were not going to do anything about it. The reason for that was when they painted the patio it matched, and the sample paint they took from the house to the paint supplier matched. The owner of Designs by Us would not even come by the house to view the problem. So I went from satisfied, to very unsatisfied. I now have to get the problem fixed.

The job was accomplished in several stages. The workers who did the footers and concrete work were very professional and showed up on time. The framers were also professional and did not play loud music or make the family feel uneasy in anyway. The workers who did the stucco also was very professional. The company rep (Gary) came by to QC the work and progress. The work was excellent.

The patio enclosure built by Designs By Us is beautiful, the crew did a very nice job and everything matched perfectly with our house. I had shopped around for estimates and designs before choosing the contractor to build my patio cover. I liked their quality of work and designs even though they were not the cheapest. We are glad we chose them to do the construction work; the company is professional. The crew was punctual and trustworthy; from the roof to the tile floor, everything turned out great.
