JUST STOP. Seriously, if you're looking for a reliable, competent, trustworthy company for your paint job, Comfort Painting and Remodeling is the crew for you. Christian and father, Horacio, run a small shop business, but no job is too big for their professional outfit. We found the company through Yelp, requested a bid, and Christian came out the same week. We received 8 bids to do exterior stucco work and paint for our 4000 sq. ft home. They were reasonably priced for the scope of work and they certainly fit our budget. What swayed our decision was the way Christian explained the levels of paint and what worked on each surface (we chose Sherwin Williams Duration for the body of the house). Also, he emphasized they were insured and bonded, details very important to my husband and I. Their small team of four showed up every day (on time as told) and worked tirelessly through the afternoon. While two workers were the busy bees, Horacio and Christian were masters of their craft painting the property. We are ecstatic with the job they've completed and highly recommended them. I'll update this review in a couple of years to let you know how the paint has held up.

The ceiling paint does not match the connecting ceiling from the living room to the kitchen. Both were painted. There were previous water stains on the ceiling. The stains bled through immediately after painting. The contractor painted the finished doorway a different shade of white as the walls by accident. They returned to fix that issue. I am remodeling my house and having to have the contractor repeatedly return to correct work is not ideal.

Let's start with "Comfort's" own self promotion, and I quote: "As a dedicated team of local painters, we’re committed to giving you the best treatment possible. We’ll make sure you always make a good first impression." They failed to live up to the most basic customer relations. 1) I requested a quote to paint a small bedroom. 2) They promptly responded and said a visit would be necessary and we set up a time. 3) Just prior to their scheduled arrival time Christian called and said they wouldn't be able to make it that day at all. They asked that I text pictures of the room to them and they would typically be able to respond within 30 minutes with a quote. 4) 6 hours after texting pictures and room measurements (that I had included in my initial request for a bid) I called and left Christian a message to make sure they received the text -- no answer, no return call. 5) 24 hours later I called and left Christian another message and still no response. They simply vaporized. I have no doubt they'll post a response about extenuating circumstances, but that does not excuse their handling. If you solicit business and have a "dedicated team", someone could be tasked with keeping in touch with prospects; at a minimum, live up to your own puffery. Otherwise, just remove yourself from Angie's List if circumstances prevent you from performing and save everyone the aggravation. The only person who actually did any work in this exchange is ME. And I have my own extenuating circumstances -- working full time, caregiving an 86-year old father in the hospital for surgery, and dealing with a global pandemic. My time is as valuable as "Comfort's".

They did an amazing job and finished ahead of schedule. We highly recommend them.

Father & son team were great to work with. Their bid was very reasonable. They showed up on time, were very professional, kept us informed of progress and what they would do next, and the work was high quality. They were able to start the job within a few days of getting the bid and were done in 4 days with one day off due to high winds. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

It went excellent. The owners were very responsive and I call them every weekend looking for a cleaner and they were the one who just responded. They worked very hard, they did great job and I am very happy with them and their price was reasonable
