Chris D Computer Service

Description of Work: My computer was very sluggish and I was unable to use my outlook express for e-mail and hyperlinks in e-mail did not work. I suspected a virus and ran virus scans and malware scans with no success. I checked Angie's list for computer repair/service firms and chose Chris D because I wanted to deal with someone face to face and not remotely. I checked Chris D's website and was please with what I read and sent him an e-mail describing my problems. I received a phone call the next day (Sunday) and we set up and appointment for Monday. He arrived on time and began to work on the laptop immediately. He diligently spent a little more than 3 hours deleting files and removing the virus. He downloaded and installed new anti virus and malware programs and provided me with a checklist of things to do on a daily basis to keep the laptop running smoothly (the machine is about 8 years old). I was very pleased with the results and have seen a big improvement in the speed and responsiveness of the computer. I would happily recommend Chris for servicing your computer.

Description of Work: For $60, my PC was fixed; and the personality and skills of Chris D. repairman were so great I'll remember it as the greatest repair call I've ever had in Las Vegas. And I've lived her for forty years!

Description of Work: I had done something by responding incorrectly and could not get rid of "IN BOX" as my server and it was messing up my emails. Chris fixed the problem and checked everything on the computer and added a program that would help in the future and kindly showed a very unsophisticated lady what to do. He was just terrific. Very patient and relaxed and clear.
