Very professional and courteous. They had to work in my attic and it was very hot. It was also a complex job with multiple zones. They did it all in one long day and it looks and works great. Like @nything in Vegas however I hope it lasts. But these guys were good and explained anything I asked about. They also made sure everything was covered and cleaned up after themselves. The price was very reasonable.

I highly recommend Black Mountain Air. The condenser fan motor went out on one of our HVAC's on a Sunday. Most other air service companies are closed on Sunday, but I was able to schedule a service from BMA for the following afternoon (I consulted another service first, and they couldn't get anyone out until Friday). The two techs (one was Robert, and I didn't get the name of the second) who came to our house were courteous and professional. They quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the motor, and had us back in cool air within an hour. This is no small feat since our HVACs are on top of our two-story roof. It's hard to get up there and there isn't a lot of space to move around. It didn't seem to bother the techs, though. I didn't hear a word of complaint from them, and they were positive throughout and pleasant in their interactions with me and my wife. The owner, Todd, gave me a very competitive price for the service. We are very grateful to Black Mountain Air.

The crew was so dedicated and professional. They worked from 10 am to 10 pm - mostly in the 135 degree attic to install two new units! They wanted to insure we’d have the cooling system running before they left! And then came back the next day and finished the furnace installation. We were so impressed and pleased with their dedication! I would highly recommend them!

After discussing other opinions, I decided to replace entire heating and cooling system in my house. I feel that everyone at Black Mountain Air was honest, professional and helpful in every part of the process.

Our old system failed on a Monday (in July, of course.) They installed the new system on Friday. They loaned us window air conditioning units in the meantime so we could have some comfortable space in our home. Office staff and technicians were all very responsive, courteous and professional. They did not pressure us to buy a new system, we asked about it. Our system that failed was 23 years old, we felt it was time.

It was reasonable for Las Vegas. This time it was good to find somebody that was reasonable.

They have always done good. Give them an A all the way through. They are friendly, they are on time, they get the job done right, and their pricing is fairly reasonable. They are very knowledgeable.

Our ac dieing about two weeks ago,and our hsa sent out a company that was horrible, after two weeks without ac and Temps in the 100s we called black mountain air. We called them and they showed up I ten minutes told us what's wrong a ended up fixing it today like they said,at first it wasn't til noon but they told use they didn't want us suffering any more and we're here at 9 am with the lift and all. Now I'm sittingin a cool house and cooking a nice dinner for the first time in two weeks. Thank you black mountain air we are using u for here on out.

I initially spoke with the very helpful and friendly receptionist Shannon who referred me to the boss, Todd, who I found to be unusually straightforward and honest. I described the problem and expressed my feelings as an engineer that I should probably replace the whole 10 year old system. He said he didn't think that was necessary and after I provided him with the model and serial number of the unit he looked up the price of all the parts that might need to be replaced and called me back with the worst case cost of the repair and the assurance that if all the parts weren't needed or if the repair went faster than expected the cost would be less. The next day his brother Robert arrived at the appointed time and very competantly did the repair. He took great care to do a good job and it ended up costing less than the worst case phone estimate. It was very nice to deal with people who don't use scare tactics and try to take advantage and overcharge or sell something I didn't need even though I had anticipated needing to buy a whole new system.

after a horrible experience with Air One airconditioning , that my home warranty co sent. they tried to charge me $550 for freon that i did not need !!! i called Black Mountain air on my own, and they sent a tech named Todd. He listened to what i said and within 5 min. he said it was the thermostat.. he did not have one that i wanted.. at that time i told him what had happened with the other co... he didnt charge me for the visit, . i went to lowes and bought 2 Nest thermostats , and i am going to have him install them. today. he told me my system was fine ..it was cold !!! they have a customer for life !!!

A/C went out the night before the 4th of July. Called Black Mountain Air at 5 am on the 4th of July, I received a call back at 6:30 am saying not to worry they would be over before noon to fix the A/C. They showed up on time and fixed the problem within 1 hour. No extra fees were added on for the holiday. Extremely happy and would highly recommend them. They are the only A/C company in town I trust and would ever use.

Excellent. He recommended a way to solve the problem ourselves so he did not have to charge us for a very simple fix.

The tech arrived on time, was very professional and did a great job taking his time and going over everything with me. Most importantly he gave the unit a clean bill of health and there was zero attempt to try and persuade me into purchasing any parts or service plans. Highly commendable. Very happy with both the service and integrity.

Great! Todd came within 30 minutes of my call. He was polite, knowledgable, and trustworthy. He fixed my problem quickly at an inexpensive price. I appreciate people who do business like Black Mountain and I will recommend and use his services in the future.

We came home late one evening to find the fan motor on the AC bound up. I called and left a message the very next day at 6:00am. Todd returned my call around 7:30am and talked to me about it. He told me he would be able to drop by "on their way out" and would be there between 8:00 and 9:00 am. They got to my house around 8:30 or so. Todd called me at work to tell me what was wrong - the fan motor needed replacing - and that he was going to replace the capacitor as well (this is the part that generally fails in an AC unit). He did the work quickly, professionally and that's the end. :o) My sister was the one to work with him and found him to be very professional. I have called these guys before. The first time they fixed the *exact* same problem another AC company had fixed a year earlier and were $100.00 less expensive than the other guys. Also, I recommended them to my friend when her AC units died. She contacted them with 3 other companies to get the best overall deal. They gave her the better price, consulted with her about her options, etc. She was *very* happy with them and the job they did. It made me feel good to know that I could recommend them to her and she would be taken care of. Way to go guys.

This was a year ago so I dont remember the exact price, but the technician arrived at my house on time, had the parts on his truck and completed the job in a timely manner.

Todd came out the day after I called for service. He was right on time and went to work. He explained that everything was fine except the water pump would need to be replaced and a clogged line cleared. He left for a short time to get a water pump , but returned and quickly made the repairs. I was very pleased with the service and with todd's professionalism.

I was having problem with no cool air upstairs. Went online to Service Magic and got a call from a company. I asked about pricing so I could see what to expect (cost of a lb. of Freon, approximate cost for replacement, etc.) The guy kept saying "depends" (even to my Freon cost question). So I said "forget that." Called Black Mountain Air after reading a review in Angie's List (Also they are in Henderson which is close to my house). I asked them about service costs, cost of Freon, etc. The guy was up front and told me there price for Freon, etc. (which I appreciated very much). He said he could come out first thing in the morning. He was at my house promptly at 8:00 AM. He checked a couple of things - he thought it might be the capacitor, but I thought it might need Freon. So he replaced the capacitor and it started working. Without asking though he checked the Freon since I was concerned about it. The cost was $100.00 less than Yes! cost me last year to also replace a capacitor. Also, Todd (the Black Mountain Air guy) answered all my questions and was very nice and professional. Also, he didn't try to "upsell" me on a new system (which I also experienced with Yes! last year). When I mentioned to him that I appreciated he didn't try to sell me on a new system he just said "when you need a new system we'll be happy to put one in for you." I was very impressed with Todd and with the company. I would definitely use them again. I felt they were honest, forth right, and didn't try to gouge me on the price.

One of our 2 A/C systems was not blowing cold air, and it was also time for an annual maintenance check. Todd arrived when he said he would, was very professional, quickly identified the problem and completed the repairs necessary.
