If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a completely new hvac system for my elderly mother who is also sickly and now trapped in a home that is over 90 degrees because we cannot afford to fix this issue on our brand new system. It was installed December 31, 2021. The company came out in 2022 3 times to fix failures. In 2023 they've come out twice. Now, 18 months later on a $10k unit, the compresser failed and needs replacing. This until should get 15 years without issue and didn't even get 2. Ambient edge REFUSED to replace it without us shelling out $2300 on labor (only) as the unit itself is under warranty. They claim that they are not liable to fix any issues from Mojave air whom they assumed last year and actually suggested I reach out to the deceased former owners family to see if they will cover it!!!!! To put a nail in the coffin, the customer service manager REFUSED to provide me with a copy of my receipt where she claims it says I only have a 1 year labor warranty. Sounds pretty fishy right.... She also claimed they are not responsible for the work of the company they assumed which sounds rife with illegalities. I spoke to the State Contractors board who urged me to start an investigation as there is 4 years of implied warranty for this type of work. I will be going forward with that as well. Do NOT use this scamming company. Read the other reviews. They are scammers who DO NOT CARE about their customers and will rip you off to save their bottom line.

They are very very good but they are expensive. They are responsive. As far as their service I'd give them a "B".

it went reasonably well. they came out on a saturday to assess the situation. it took a few days to get the part from the manufacturer, but there wasn't much that Ambient Edge could do about that. however, i should mention that Ambient is quite expensive. it appears they use a "flat rate" system based on the particular job. the part was under warranty, but the labor was not. if i could have waited, i would have checked with other vendors to find out if Ambient's price was anywhere near competitive. it is possible their price was reasonable, but i don't know. having said that, they did get the job done, and everything seems to be working fine.

It was covered in the contract. The workers were very respectful, very friendly and professional.

Left a message on Sunday morning via the website that I needed service for my air conditioner with an auto response via email stating that I will hear from them shortly. Since the firm was closed on Sunday I did not hear back from them that day. I called Monday morning at 0800 and the receptionist told me they would be contacting me soon because the guys are just getting to the office. Needless to say it is now 9 1/2 hours later and NO RETURN CALL!! I do not recommend them for their lack of concern.

I booked an appointment through for 11am Saturday, Apr 23 online. I received a confirmation email from Ambient stating that they tried to call me, but I was unavailable. I was undergoing dialysis on Friday, and could not make a phone call. The other option they gave was to confirm via their email address, which I did right away, describing my problem. At 11:15am on Saturday, no one from Ambient had contacted me, and no technician showed up at my house. I called the office number, and was told that they left me a message, and I never replied. I informed the very pleasant lady on the phone that the other option they listed was emailing them. Her reply was "oh, I didn't check the email". She then informed me that as it was a Saturday, or "extended hours" the diagnostic fee would be $99 instead of $59. Nowhere was this indicated while making the appointment, or in their follow up email. I was about to reschedule for Tuesday, the next day I have off from dialysis, but decided that this was a very poor start to a potential long term relationship. I am in the process is of qualifying for a kidney transplant at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, so I was hoping to get a repair that would get me through the summer, and then upgrade my 2 central AC units in the fall, after my transplant. I will now go with another firm that will treat me in a more professional and timely manner. It may have been a surrendipidous event that saved me from future hassle and disappointment.

I request Brian to service my Trane heating/cooling system. He is highly experienced, does a complete servicing, and always shows up on time. Ambient Edge sold and installed my unit, after having an incompetent air cooling company out of Lake Havasu--they had to remove their botched Trane system (mixed/matched air handler with the outside air conditioner) after blowing up the first system that they tried to install. Their final installation job resulted in flooding my hallway after they left my home. Had to get the help of a Kingman Arizona business licensing officer to get the owner of Lake Havasu air conditioning company to remove their defective unit from my home. Stick with Ambient Edge. They know what they're doing with installation and servicing of heating/cooling systems.

I got them on Angie's List. The guy charged me wrong, took my credit card, and three weeks later the office called and said that I hadn't paid it. I told them that the guy took my credit card. I was happy with the service and renters didn't say anything. The billing wasn't done right and I still haven't received an invoice or anything like that but, I paid them $200 in addition to the $50 or $60 tune-up special. I will try to find someone else next time.

They call to let me know they were on their way ,arrived on time and they were polite , listened to my concerns about the unit.Our unit is 11-12 yrs.old and we plan to buy new,bad not this minute, we bought this house in August 2014 and we are finding out what is needed . I made the decision to refill freon and see if we could get it to last a little longer.

I moved to Kingman in May, 2008 and bought a place with a swamp cooler. Know nothing about swampers and permitted local handyman to service and get going as unit appears simple. Had many problems with it and it was literally dead on July 4, 2008, which was a hot day and had no warning of imminent failure. I searched thru yellow pages, and got Ambient out here as they advertised one hour service. A rather nasty tech did arrive w/in like 59 minutes. Before starting work, he read me a 'bill of rights' that Ambient would not warrant any work done on swampers, he refused to commit that he could get it working but agreed to try only. I have heat seizures, was able and willing to pay all costs to get it running and agreed. For those unfamiliar with swamp coolers, this assertion I now know was absurd. Any fool who can climb on a roof can get these units running as they are quite simple in design. He informed me that a critical pump (water) had died and he could replace it with new unit(boxed) for as I recall 39.95. I agreed and he had unit running in about 45 minutes. I paid him a small fortune for work done(over $200) and he raced off property. Within 5 min. of departure, swamper died again and I called company and he returned. I need to stress that this tech was a major n***, with a rotten attitude and made no attempt at pleasantries. When he returned, he inspected indoor wiring and replaced indoor electrical outlet for as I recall an absurd price(circa 100.00). Latter found out cost of both parts he used was vastly overpriced --other swamper repair co. charged as I recall 19.99 for pump and about 15.00 for electrical switch.... Swamper worked for a month after service and again died. Called in a company neighbors referred me to and only thing wrong was that the allegedly new swamper water pump had died. They removed it and replaced it for less than as I recall $40.00(including labor) but showed me the water pump installed one month prior by Ambient. The new water pump Ambient sold me was covered with a green mold and was not NEW(the second licensed and bonded co. informed me that they had never seen such a nightmare and that in no way would a new pump die and become covered with green slime in a month(as we have very lo humidity here). The second contractor also re-wired the electrical unit he installed as it was unreliable for FREE(as Ambient tech had done bad job wiring it). I kept the water pump and box Ambient installed and about 2 years latter, was seeking to replace furnance and had called Ambient out just to get an estimate. A very nice owner of firm came out and we talked and he gave me a reasonable quote. As I was mildly interested I raised my prior experience with his company in 2008. At first he failed to believe me and when I retrieved the moldy pump, he called headquarter and verified they had done the work, and found the invoice and name of tech who had installed it. He promised me, he would look into this and take appropriate actions and apologized profusely for the incident. He promised to get back to me, after he reviewed tech notes but never did. About two years latter I called Home Depot to come out and give me a quote for a new heater. I was not aware that Home Depot had delegated all repairs in this area, and the second brother arrived at my door step to give me a quote for replacing a Coleman furnance. Before discussing new business with him, I wanted to get to bottom of why this company hired negligent techs and although he was not eager forced him to retrieve records on point from company, called company and pulled records. He then told me that the tech who had ripped me off and sold me a used part was now their lead best tech and trained others in their firm. Unlike his sibling, he was not friendly or even affable but rather rude. Ambient made no attempt to compensate me for their initial ripoff and second brother in 2012 was indignant that I raised this issue regarding a tech who at least should have been talked to and not defended by owners of the firm for installing used equipment at outrageous costs. Home Depot sent him out to provide a quote for replaciing a home furnance....after defending the gross negligence of their prior work, he attempted with great vigor to sell me a geo-thermal heat pump for around $7000. I was not interested and reminded him that he was in my home for a quote for replacing a Coleman home furnance and not hawk me a product I had no interest in...He then told me that Ambient no longer installed furnances...only heat pumps and we ended dialog quickly. It is plausible Ambient Edge may be under new management but I would be suspect. Kingman is a small town and if they bought out Ambient, retaining their name was not to their advantage as they had a bad reputation and would make no sense. I hope Angie's list investigates this matter...as only a fool would do business with this company or its alter-ego. So please if you do have work done by them query them about their current/past ownership as believe original owners likely intimately involved and would never hire them to even 'mow' my lawn.

They gave me faulty information. They went on the roof and they told me that I needed a new one. It was going to cost about $10,000.00. I called someone else and he went up to the roof to check it out and he said that a senor had been moved. He fixed that and the AC has been working ever since. Their punctually was good, but their professional was not.

They cleaned it and then they had to replace a part on the air conditioner. Some kind of a board, a circuit board. We found them through Home Depot. They were overpriced and they tried to sell me a new furnace.

Very well. He was on time and kept his agreement. He took his time but did not rush the service at all. In summary: a great experience and I will use this service provider again. They are a breath of fresh air in a sea of hustlers for this service here in Las Vegas. I was not offered any rebate or added service incentive to write this review.

We needed two new HVAC units as our existing ones were over 20 years old. After many hours of research for such an expensive investment, Ambient Edge was one of the top recommended companies. We had several different companies provide quotes. Aaron Brown from Ambient Edge was very knowledgeable. He was the only one who took his time and actually performed the heat load calculations properly, in doing so he determined the existing units had been undersized. He provided us with very competitive prices and several options to work with our budget. Aaron was very friendly and professional as was the installation crew. We highly recommend this company.

The technician, Tucker, was excellent! He was very professional and extremely nice, explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. The fix was so small (a fried wire) that he only charged us for the service call! I would highly recommend Ambient Edge to anyone!

Service was good, advised me of the condition of the unit. Was neat and polite.

Contracted on 10/29/2012 with Ambient Edge to install R-30 insulation, duct seal, new supply and a 20x20 return for the master bedroom. Total amount for work was $4120.20 less Unisource rebates of $1450.00 leaving a balance due from me of $2670.20. I had heard very good things about Ambient Edge and they had a very good Angie?s list rating. I did not pay close attention to the installation of the contracted services and assumed everything was done in a professional manner. Sunday April 13, 2014 I noticed there was dirt around the ducts and remember Shawn from Ambient Edge explaining that as the air blows through the grille it actually creates a siphoning effect drawing air from the attic space around the grille through the cracks between the sheetrock and the duct. I was shocked when I took the AC grilles off and saw what a sloppy job was done. Over the next few days I sealed all the ducts except for the master bedroom & bath. I looked in the attic and the sealing of the flex duct to the air handler was very sloppy and unprofessional so I sealed those as best I could. The new flex duct supplying the master bedroom was partially crushed when turned around a corner. Monday 4/14/2014 I called Ambient Edge and had all the confidence in the world that this would be resolved quickly. I spoke to Heather who was very sympathetic and I asked to speak to the President/General Manager Steve Lewis. She said I should talk to Mark first who is in charge of service and said she would have him call me today. No call!! Thursday 4/17/2014 I called to talk to President/General Manager Steve Lewis and was put through to his voice mail. No response!! Thursday 4/24/2014 I called again in total frustration and spoke to Shannon. She said Shawn had originally done the energy audit and would like to send him out on Monday 4/28/2014. Monday 4/28/2014 Shawn came out and looked at my pictures of the ducts before I sealed them, looked at the attic and the return air in the hallway. He agreed that it was a poor quality job. Said he would talk to Mark and get back in touch. Friday 5/2/2014 Shannon called and said Shawn & Mark would be out on Tuesday 5/6/2014 @ 10:00 AM?at 9:40 AM Shannon called and left a message that the appointment today has to be cancelled and for me to call and reschedule. At this point I feel I?m getting the run around and don?t care if I ever see or talk to Ambient Edge again. I did not call back to reschedule. Shannon called at 5:03 PM and left a message that Billy and Shawn would be here at 10:00 AM Thursday 5/8/2014. Who is Billy, what happened to Mark? Thursday 5/8/2014 I called Shannon and asked why Billy was coming out and she said that President/General Manager Steve Lewis wanted Billy Barger to come out and look at the situation. She said that President Steve really trusted Billy. At 10:00 AM Shawn, Billyand Mark showed up and looked over the job. They said it wasn't perfect but was acceptable. The more they looked they finally agreed it was a lousy job. The two returns which are the largest areas of the entire duct system were never touched during the duct seal. I paid $650.00 for this duct seal and was asking for most of my money back which I determined to be $400.00. I said the guy who did the duct seal did the whole thing in about one hour and Mark looked around and said he could also probably do our house in about an hour. Now I really feel ripped off at $650.00 per hour. They wanted to give me credits for future work but in my opinion that was holding me hostage to their company. We agreed I would complete the duct seal for the master bedroom & return air and would call Shawn back for a retest and if it showed any improvement we would continue our conversation as to what to do. My wife and I decided we did not want any more dealings with this company. (New Angie?s List Review will be made for the following company) Through Angie?s list we found Air Control Air Conditioning in Lake Havasu, AZ. The owner Jim Jensen and his son Jamie came to the house and it was very informative. Jamie did a manual J load calculation and determined we needed a 3 ton rather than a 4 ton unit. They also explained the benefits of the Aeroseal duct sealing which seals from the inside of the ducts. We purchased the best system available which was the Trane XV20i Premium System. Runs at variable speeds and is very quiet and ALL rooms feel the same temperature. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Air Control Air Conditioning. Total cost $15,791.00

The technician did all the work as expected, but did find a problem with the outside unit. It was a little wobbly and at first he said it would be an easy fix. Then as he thought about it, he wanted to remount it properly and said it would cost $150-$200. Then after he spoke to his office he said the job would take 2 people and more work than originally thought and it might cost up to $300. At first he made it sound urgent that we follow through and I made an appointment. But as I thought about it afterward, I decided to get a second opinion. Glad I did because a friend did it for $0. I have no complaints with the service that was provided. Just don't think I would use them again.

Carlos arrived on time and performed the inspection. He explained what was needed, and I explained that I have a Home Warranty and have to wait until it breaks down to do anything. He was very understanding and did not push me to purchase anything. I left shortly after Carlos did to attend a picnic. When I arrived home several hours later, the air conditioning was not working. I called Ambient Edge and received a call back withing ten minutes. Brian came out immediately and fixed the problem. Carlos had forgotten to reattach a wire following his inspection, and the motor overheated. Brian cooled it down and got it working again. I would give Carlos a C grade and Brian an A.

they were late. that is my only criticism, but it is not to be taken lightly when there are conflicts.

Rodney and Chris arrived on time and checked our air conditionong system. In and out in about 30 min. Nice guys and quick and clean.

They were here at the time they said they would here. He went right to work and finished in the time he said it would take. Tech was very professional..

Did springtime tune-up/check-out of air conditioning system.
