Action Homework

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and not very expensive; I think this describes the outstanding job that John; from Action Home Work did for us. John showed up at the appointed time. He went out and picked up the new hot water tank we had picked out and had it installed and working perfectly in less than 2-1/2 hrs. Amazing. John arrived promptly the next morning after my call. He came prepared with the parts he would 
need to replace 2 p-traps in bath sinks, also caulked tub. He has a lot of experience in all areas
of handyman work, and I will call him again.

It went overall like it usually does. We went to the store, I purchased the size I wanted, 40 gallon, plus all the other stuff. I was a little taken aback when I had to plead for a full coverage insulation suit. I had to tell the store dude you insulate for winter and summer. Finally got him to show me where they were and we headed home.
.How John got it out of the truck and into the cabinet up on the side of the Mobile Home, I have never figured out. He cleaned out the cabinet, rec-lined it and changed out the old plumbing, getting it up in there, connected and dressed out in insulation. He worked so hard, it works very well.

It went fantastic.  It did take two days since the system I chose was more complicated than the other two methods offered and he had never used that one.  However, the more complicated and expensive model i chose looks so much better and while it is paintable the channels that the wire goes through look very professional just left white.  Also the fans were each different to install flat on the ceilings and on the beam in the middle of the ceiling caused the base of the fan to be cut to fit the shape.  All in all he did such a great job.  None of the fans even need adjusting which is something I love about them.   All allow me to set the thermostat a good 10 degrees warmer and still feel cool, in fact sometimes too cool.Would I ask him back? Already have, next to install are the front stairs with my requested 5inch risers.  Bad knee.

I liked his price and personality.

He is wonderful and very nice.   He advises me on what cannot be done and the reason behind it.  He performed the job within five hours.  He listens to what I want and tries to accommodate what I want and what I do not want.  If he cannot do something he will literally say he cannot.  He also tells me what he can do.  There are no more leaks in my roof after he worked on it.  He has a license and passes great big tests.  He is very knowledgeable about what he can and cannot do and also in the fact that since I have a manufactured home, knowing where to go to get what is required.  He knows the limitations of a mobile home and can help me get around them.  He is also very funny and always available.  His pricing is excellent.  He is very punctual and here even before I am ready for him.  I would use him again in the future.

I’ve used him several times.  I’ve had him come for several different things on repairs on my home.  He’s done everything excellent and that’s why I keep on calling him.  He’s very reasonable too.  He stayed here for about an hour or two and he had to make up something to work with my plumbing.  He charged me a $100 I believe, and that included the parts that he used to repair my toilet.  He’s very pleasant and presentable.  He communicates well and he does his work in an excellent way.  He seems to know tricks that my husband doesn’t know.  My husband is very good also but he gets stumped sometimes.  He’s good at electricity and plumbing.  He’s just a handyman and he’s good at everything that I’ve ever called him out for.  I will definitely use him again in the future.
