Very unprofessional. Came out in March for a pool leak said it was around the light and supposedly fixed it. When David put one part back together after he checked for a leak, he put a broken O-ring in and when I turned the pump on, water started spraying out of the valve, it took them over a week to come back out and replace it. Linda said to just keep running the pump until they could get out here, which was horrible advise, really with water spraying all over the place, I think not. After a few more days, rust started forming around the screw that was replaced in the light, obviously not the right type of screw. Called and let them know cause the rust was spreading. A few weeks later, yes, WEEKS, the owner Kris came out and said he had fired the guy who worked on our pool cause he didn't know what he was doing. While here, Kris checked for other leaks and said that around the frame of the skimmer basket was a leak and he took my e-mail address and was going to e-mail me an estimate, which I NEVER got. When I called their office and FINALLY spoke to Linda, she said that Kris decided that since it was only him doing the work now and was very busy that he decided he wasn't going to do work in our area at this time. I was very understanding and MORE than patient when they just kept putting me off because they were so busy, during this time and gave them PLENTY of time due to the pandemic situation. And then to be told he wasn't going to come to our area, I felt they should've refunded me some of the $350 I paid, which was suppose to include finding the leak and a FREE estimate that I NEVER got. I would NOT refer this place to anyone. My pool still leaks and also, the first person that came out, cracked our light in the pool, maybe due to inexperience for the job that was required. After all, the owner Kris even said that's why he fired the guy, he didn't know what he was doing. I would give them minus 10 stars if that was possible, 1 is way over rated.....

In short, very rude and unprofessional. Here is what I experience. Actual emails that I sent and received from them are attached here: I had main line leakage on my rental property and my tenant called them. They came and dug ground to locate the leak. After that they gave me a quote, which I negotiated to get discount of $100 (from $1200 + 1yr warranty to $1100 + 2yr warranty). I had a couple of phone discussions and asked about Kitec plumbing, which was present in the house and if there is leakage from there. They said no and I believed them. At least during phone conversations, they were understanding and sounded professional. It seemed that everything was going smoothly until they actually showed up again to start working on the job. As soon as they started working, they detected Kitec plumbing underneath the leak, which they were unable to notice even with my inquires. They found this only after they came to start working. They said this needs to be replaced, which I agreed, and would come up with a new quote. After almost 2 days of waiting, they gave me one with over 3 times of what we originally agreed. Their new proposal includes replacing of the pipe lines that had been replaced in the past by previous owner and had no issue so far. Besides, this part was not connected to Kitec. Because this requires deep trench digging and hence causing high labor cost, I asked them if it is ok not to do it and just proceed with only kitec parts and other junctions where leakage happens. I communicated that with an email and this is exactly what I sent : "Hello, K* I talked to D*, who is current resident and has been living there for a while. He said he already replaced the pipe from the meter to the current leak and therefore no need for replacing. I understand the replaced pipe size would be smaller but they have not had any issue over 2 and half years and hence I believe there is no need for additional work, such as deep digging like 12-inch. Because digging, replacing, and installing new pipes under ground would be one of the most expensive parts of the job, I expect we could save at least 40-50% without having to do it. Then additional job required would be just to connect a bypass from kitec to garage and "reloation" of pressure regulator and shut-off valve because the original proposal already included installation of them. My guess is, without having to replace pipes from the meter, this job (just bypassing from kitec and installing pressure regulator and shut-off valve either on garage or outside) can be done at significantly less cost than $XXXX and I want to know what you think. I want you to understand that this quote is over 3 times more than the initial proposal and way beyond my budget. So I want to eliminate something unnecessary." Later, he replied me with following: "Mr **** I'm sure they will be more than happy to fix it the wrong way again. Best of luck with that. Regards, K* " Have you received such rude and offensive email from a service provider? I have not until now. As customer, I got very offended and felt like I have to let others know about their attitude, hence leaving this review. Please do not hire them unless you are very patient and can deal with impatient, rude contractor, who would downright look down potential customers. Extremely disappointed.

American Leak Detection could not find a leak in my in-ground spa on two separate occasions in May, 2013. Called Accurate Leak Detection after having spa replastered. My spa was losing 3 inches of water a day. Dave found the leak within 2 minutes of explaining the problem. My Chlorinator was cracked around the entire top of the canister. I was quoted $225.00 when I made the appt. but was only charged for the service call ($95.00)since they did not have to use any equipment. Dave turned off my valve at the pump since I use a floating duck to hold my chlorine. I will have to seal the canister if I want to use the Chlorinator in the future. Will definitely use these guys in the future!
