A MARCHON POOL & SPA SERVICE

Ron came out in October to give us an estimate for pool service. We agreed on full service every other week. Service to include vacuuming, brushing, skimming, chemicals, etc... To make a very long story short, in 3 months we went through at least 5 employees. None of them provided quality service. I would send him text messages including photos of the pool after service was performed. He agreed that the work was substandard and would offer to send someone different the next time. After 3 months , I began to notice that the water looked cloudy and green. I decided to take a sample to get tested and was informed that there was zero chlorine in the pool. The acid was way off as well. That was it. After 3 months and and several employees, I had no choice but to cut him loose. In 3 months he was never paid. I discussed with Ron about the work that was never performed as well as the chemicals that were never added, and that I was just going to cut my losses and move on. I suggested he do the same. Well, after all the headaches he’s still expecting to be paid. When I told him that I don’t pay for service that wasn’t performed, he responded with “You will find out how nice I really am now. Your challenging the wrong person. I'm not ending this as I want my money.” He has threatened to send me to collections, put a lien on my home, and/or take me to small claims court. All over $180 balance

After several delays due to either weather or other clients needs, the work was finally done. Ron seemed like he knew what he was talking about when he gave us our estimate. Even though it seemed high, we decided to go with him. What a mistake that was! Eventually the job was done and now we have a spa we can't even use as the acid wash ruined the plaster. My husband and I have tried to contact him for months. At first he would respond to texts and always had an excuse as to why he couldn't come at that time. I spoke with him on the phone and he gave me the story how he lost his phone and contacts, etc. Don't believe that one anymore! My final text to him was suggesting we make an actual appointment time for him to come look at and repair our spa. I mentioned if he has time to schedule other clients, certainly he could schedule a time for us. I never heard back from him. My husband called him again recently, left a message, and of course no response. I am so disappointed and upset that he was so dishonest and certainly not a man of his word. When we first met I asked him if he was on Angie's List and he said it was a bunch of ****. I see now why he doesn't like it. I bet he doesn't get good reviews from anyone.
