Mr. Walter came highly recommended both locally and on Angie's List, so I was looking forward to working with him on my kitchen remodel project. He came out to my house on Thursday, July 17th, 2014, and arrived on time. We discussed the scope of the project and he promised to provide me with a written estimate by the end of the following week. Unfortunately, it was nearly a month before I heard from him. He called to tell me that he was sorry he never got back to me. I, too, was sorry...and disappointed that he never once called within that month to let me know he was going to be delayed. If he had taken a minute or two to call and let me know, I would have been patient and understanding. I told him that his total lack of follow-up or communication was very unprofessional -- and he agreed. I told Mr. Walter that if I couldn't count on him to call and keep me informed, I felt I might have the same problem with him if I contracted with him to do the remodel. Because of the month-long delay in Mr. Walter following up and contacting me about the job, I told him I was no longer interested in his services.

Walter and Walter Construction was excellent. What I like most about them is their organization and they're on time. I've used many contractors over the years and Walter and Walter Construction is exceptional. The entire project was on time and exactly as you described. All subs were clean and on time.

Mike Walter is always wonderful to work with. He communicates what is going to happen and when. Never any wondering when or who is coming that day. His workers are a pleasure to work with. They care about the work they are doing and who they are doing it for. I always recommend Walter and Walter Construction. There is no other contractor that I would think of using!!

They were great. There were delays because I had the flooring done outside of the contractor and Walter and Walter worked with us even though the outside source and flooring created schedule problems for them. Mike, John and they're workers are always helpful and go the extra mile. They are worth every penny we paid. I think we and quot;got a lot of bang for the buck!and quot; We've used them before and will use them again.

They're really very good; they're clean, precise, and honest. We are very happy with them because they are local. I would rate them highly overall, and I would use them again in the future if I needed to.
