Description of Work: tub handle cartridges went out, the plumber found new ones and installed them and showed me the old ones. He acts and talks very professionally and doesn't waste time doing the job.

 + -1 moreI called this place and was told that I would receive a call the next day and someone would come out. So I didn't call anyone else since this is a local company and I wanted to support them. The next day there was no phone call. I called back and was told that it could be days before anyone called us. Thanks, but no thanks. I need someone that can be relied on to at least respond.

Description of Work: I am a real estate agent and have called on Freedom Plumbing on several occasions. They are always prompt in their response - even though they are incredibly busy. My issues are addressed and corrected. As far as how busy they are, I am a believer that there is no long line when the service is bad.

 + -1 moreHe looked at the toilet, after I purchased a brand new one. I did not think the whole toilet had to be replaced, but I thought there was a crack in it. He spotted a bad seal, ran off to get new parts and in an hour, the job was done. No more headaches.
Description of Work: Fixed a toilet tank and a shower head. I was about to replace a toilet, but the guy found a leaky seal instead. They are pretty busy but they squeezed us in and got it taken care of in a an hour. Tremendous.

Description of Work: I contacted them before working hours on a Friday morning. I was home all day waiting for a call. It came four days later. I work for a living as well. A courtesy call saying he couldn't come that day but set up an appointment in the future was expected.

 + -1 moreThe plumber was supposed to call us back to set up a day and time and he never called. After two to three weeks went by with no call back, we called back again and this time a plumber came out to give us an estimate. He wrote down what he needed and was supposed to call us back with the cost of the job and never contacted us again.
Description of Work: We called this company (do not remember exact date but it was late summer)to have a plumber come out and give us an estimate on some work we wanted done.

 + -1 moreThe faucet no longer leaks. The wall where it was leaking has since pretty much dried out. He told me to use bleach to kill any mold that may have formed and things are back to normal for me. They came the day after I called in the late afternoon and arrived first thing in the morning to fix my problem. Very professional and told me exactly what needed to be done.
Description of Work: Assessed problem, turned house water on and off without any trouble, told me what he needed to do, replaced hose bib, cut hole in wall to repair the pipe leaking, recommended that I dry out the wall with a fan, and was done with the job in about 35 minutes. He also offered to take away the parts that were no longer any good. Very prompt and got right to work.

 + -1 moreThe faucets no longer leak nor does the sprinkler system. I'm presuming that the materials used will hold up over time. I was impressed that the plumber suggested an alternative to sweating on the pipes that is supposed to be as sturdy and will facilitate future repairs if necessary.
Description of Work: I made an appointment for an estimateq uote for services requested. The company representative didn't arrive at all, didn't call, nor did he try to contact me the next day. UPDATE: Approximately 2 weeks after the representative failed to keep the appointment for an estimate, I received a call from Freedom Plumbing stating that they saw my response in Angie's List and were sorry about not coming by as scheduled. They gave me an estimate over the phone and did arrive the next business day. The work was done promptly and at the price quoted. I had three hose bibs replaces and a leak in the sprinkler system repaired.

Description of Work: We drove very far down the back country roads to what showed up as the residence as we found out of Freedom Plumbing. We sat down the street and called the nummber listed. An older ladt answered and asked us uestions even though she could not answer them.She had us hold on without muting the phone so we heard the guy on the phone with someone else. When she got back on the line she took our name and number and said so in so was busy and will call us right back in a few minutes. We waited hours as we drove around as well as called other plumbers in town.

Description of Work: I was the owner of a rental in Fernley. There was some water on a part of the floor in the frontroom. They checked the garage & found the water heater & fernace were both there behind the wall. Instead of tracking the leak from the garage, 'they came into the frontroom to look. The tenants were leaving to go to work, & he asked THEM if they just wanted him to fix it & they said yes. So, he cut away & OFF- a 3' wide x 4' tall, section OUT of the wall, found mold, then fixed that problem. Never checked anyplace else to see if there was mold anyplace else, which there was, & then NEVER replaced the wall! I had NO idea, as the tenants wound up skipping out on us. By then the mold had spread to the adjoining cabinite next to the door to the garage & we had to not only replace that part of the wall, but had to treat & replace the entire section of wall in the frontroom! NEVER notified us, the owners, there was a problem but got all over us when we got the bill & did not pay it 'on time', as I was calling them all the time & never got a call back. I finally called & told them I was NOT going to pay them a dime til someone called me back, which they finally did. I asked them why didn't they at least leave the piece of wall that they had taken off & they said they 'thought' they did. This entire job was a disaster & that was the 3rd time I had used them that they screwed something up. They are incompitent & liars.

 + -1 moreTech arrived and problem solved our issue...issue required the shutting down of our water heater which was not possible at the time. Tech rescheduled for a time that was convenient for us and returned to do the work. Work was completed in a timely and professional manner. I received a bill that I felt was more than reasonable...I will use this company again and would recommend them to anyone. Great service from beginning to end.
