K L Builders

Description of Work: K & L Builders was very professional and prompt. They provided us with a written quote before the work was even completed so we knew exactly what was going to happen. We had them replace some of the siding on the back side of our house as it needed repair and they did phenomenal work. We will go with them again in the future if needed.

Description of Work: I purchased a very nice one bedroom home with a finished basement. Some brilliant person had installed a stairwell from the single main floor bedroom down into the basement. It was a very nice, sturdy stairwell. Unfortunately, it occupied more than half of the bedroom, thereby rendering it unusable for it's intended purpose because a double bed would not fit. And I had no intention of sleeping in the basement. Especially when the bathroom(s) were on the main floor. Heaven smiled upon me and sent KL Builders to my rescue. Tara Klas and Loren Luke removed the stairwell and refinished the bedroom from the struts up. Everything they did was better than code: struts, subflooring, laminate floor, wainscot, trim, chair rail and paint. They even repaired some drywall in my living room and painted it, too. And they did a lot of little extras along the way. (Thank you, Loren, for fixing my antique picnic bench in the back yard.)
