"This is an unusual and rare review for us, but one we take very seriously. When we followed up with this client, she expressed dissatisfaction with the job results. After discussing her concerns, I learned that, despite regular equipment maintenance, certification courses and thorough procedures used, lines appeared after the carpet had dried. This can occur for a variety of reasons, such as when a nozzle becomes clogged in the wand. Usually such results are noticed and corrected at the time of service, but the client indicated she did not notice it until after the carpet dried. Our normal response is to immediately schedule a re-service to correct any problems, which we did. The client thought that our technician might somehow be upset with coming back to correct this. I assured her that that would not be the case and that, while this is a rare occurrence for us, our desire is that she is completely satisfied...indeed smiling with our service and that we appreciate any opportunity to make things right. Hours before our scheduled arrival, she called to cancel. We rescheduled a second time with her and prior to our arrival, she cancelled again. We asked her to call our office to reschedule her appointment at a time convenient for her, but we have not yet heard back. I hope she does call, because this undoubtedly is a problem that we can correct and we want her to be pleased with our service."

"Thank you for your response, and for the opportunity to serve you. I am pleased that you were happy with the results. It is true that our price may be higher than some other cleaners in town, but be assured that you are not spending more for the same thing. We invest thousands of dollars annually in our small company to send all our staff, including office personnel to IICRC certification classes, where we learn the latest about fibers, flooring, and new cleaning products and procedures. We are one of only a handful of cleaners in the area that do so. This is important, because, for instance, if a stain resistant nylon carpet is cleaned with a product with a PH over 10, that alkalinity [Member Information Removed] damage the carpet's stain resistant properties...and void its warranty. MANY "PROFESSIONAL" CARPET CLEANERS DO NOT KNOW THIS!! As a result, carpets may look clean for a few months, but spots [Member Information Removed] never clean up as easily or successfully as they used to in such a case. We also invest in state-of-the-art equipment and the best cleaning agents and tools...and we work hard not to overbook our schedule, so we can take the time to do the job right the first time - usually doing 3-4 jobs per day, instead of the 7-10 jobs some companies schedule daily for a single truck. Higher price tag, maybe...better short term and long term results, with friendly, skilled and caring technicians...definitely! Thanks again for the opportunity to serve you!"
The owner showed up with two technicians. The first thing they all did was put on shoe protectors; then the owner, Stephen, showed his assistants the items to be cleaned. Stephen had been the one to give me my bid, so he knew "the couch". They moved the coffee table and Stephen explained what was going to be done.
Before beginning to clean the sectionals and the ottoman, Steve and the guys put down tarps to protect my slate floors and carpets which had recently been cleaned, from any residue from the hoses. Next he made sure that all the equipment was operating just the way he wanted it for the raw cotton. Stephen explained that just the right amount of water needed to be used or the cotton could be ruined.
First they vacuumed all the components, the bases, the seat cushions and the back cushions, all over and in all directions.
When they began to clean the couch it was immediately apparent that their cleaning was going to make a huge difference!
Our sectional couch was very dirty and had never been cleaned and now it was looking like new.
I was so thrilled at how my sectionals looked after being cleaned. that I bought the MicroSeal for another $750.
Normally I would only do something like that on new furniture but this cleaning was so good that I wanted to keep it that way.
Summit came at 11 am and did not leave until 3;30 pm. Procedure was being explained and demonstrated though out the cleaning. Three men, using two hoses, took their time and did an excellent job. Everything from our entrance walkway to the couch itself was spotless. All the hoses had been carefully removed and the tarps folded so as not to spill anything out on the floors.
All the workers were so professional, friendly and caring, it was a joy to have them in our home. They did some free carpet "corrections"for me that I am still waiting on the other carpet company to come back and do. The difference is impressive.(I took before and after photos of the carpet corrections, wish I had on the sectional couch)The next time I clean our carpets, I shall use Summit Cleaning - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH SUMMIT!
In short, I used Summit Cleaning for upholstery cleaning and learned a lot.
Summit Cleaners may not be the cheapest, but I do believe they are the best!
Josh and Michael were very professional and polite and answered all my questions. They also left a bottle of carpet spot remover behind and said if there were any issues with the carpet to give them a call and they would come back to fix it.
I highly recommend Summit Cleaning.
