Louie Jones Painting

We were contacted by Tim from this company, and he came right out to see the house and discuss their procedures. His proposal sounded reasonable, and he promised to come back the following week to go over colors and finalize the plan. He didn't call, and he didn't show, but we had given him a deposit, so we were obligated to use this company. After waiting three weeks for Tim to be in touch, I called him expressing my displeasure at the lack of at least a phone call, he said they had been busy, and unable to work two days a week due to the weather. In my opinion that would have given him MORE time to drop by and discuss colors for our house. Tim promised to come the following afternoon with paint samples, and I agreed. We waited all afternoon, and Tim didn't show up or call once again. Three days later, after waiting for him to call and not hearing back, I e-mailed him this time, thinking that I now wanted our correspondance in writing in case I had to go to court to get our deposit back. He responded that he had a family emergency, but had no excuse for not calling that day or in the next three days. I then told him that I needed to go with the same colors on the house, as we couldn't ever get together to discuss a change, and he said they would start the job a week later. I told him that if this appointment was not kept I would have to have the deposit returned so that we could get another company to do the job. We did not have a deadline for this job to be done, but because of the difficulties we were having, we decided it must be done soon, and as promised, or we would have to go elsewhere. The crew did show up on the promised date, and did a good job on our house. I don't have a problem with the job done, but I would not recommend this company solely on the lack of professionalism of their front man, Tim, as he is very difficult to work with and his promises don't mean anything. Heads up if you are using this company - you will have to be "on top" of Tim to get anything done. He does not follow through with promises.

I dealt with Tim at this company, and he was prompt and explained the entire procedure that they would do, giving us a fair bid for the work. We signed the contract and gave him a deposit, explaining that we did not have a deadline, as long as the work was done this spring or summer. Tim said he would call and come by the next week to go over colors, bringing samples to try on the house so we could see how it would look. Three weeks went by, and we heard nothing. I again contacted him, he said he had been busy, and was only able to work three days a week due to the weather (it had been very windy, which would not have been a problem if he had come here with color samples, and apparently he was free two days a week!) and he made an appointment to be here the following Monday afternoon. We waited that afternoon from noon until 6 pm, and Tim didn't show, nor did he call. Three days later (giving him time to call) I contacted him again, and he said he had a family emergency, but would come by and asked when it would be convenient. I said I was not willing to sit and wait again for him because he never shows. I told him (since we had already made the deposit, and he had cashed it) to just paint the house the same color that it was, and gave him the brand and color numbers of the paint. Then our work was scheduled, and Tim's workers did show up on that day, and prepared and painted the house. The paint job looks fine, and as long as you don't mind them taking their lunch break by laying down on your patio, the job was done as promised. I would just never plan for Tim to show when he says he will. Nor will he call. He has too many excuses to be believable, and that's too bad, because it really takes away from his company.

Excellent. Professional, courteous crew did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our home. Considerable time was spent prepping our home - power washing, masking, covering all window with plastic, scraping old peeling paint, repairing minor cracks, etc. The finished painting looks amazing. We were very pleased with the crew of 3 who worked until the job was completed. Upon completion, the crew asked us to walk around the property to inspect the job. They stressed they were willing to fix anything that concerned us. There were only a few very minor touchups necessary and they completed them immediately. While the price was higher than a couple estimates from other companies, we are extremely satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend Louie Jones Painting.

They did a good job. They were great to deal with and the two different crews that did the work were good. They cleaned up and did quality work. They were easy to work with. I don't have any complaints. They were right there when they said they would be. They were back when they said they were going to be.
