It went very well.

He gave me different prices for the shrubbery he put in. He did what he said he was going to do. Matthew was easy to work with because I traded a pot roast dinner for some work. He did a good job. His follow through and follow-up needs a lot of work. He didn't do sloppy work, he did good work. When he said he would be there at 10:00 in the morning, he would call at 2:00 with a reason why he won't be there. Phone calls are not his strong suit. He hasn't been out to tweak anything. He did quality work, and he was reasonable. He worked hard. I couldn't fathom the job he did.

He turned on each sprinkler station manually and cleaned each sprinkler head. Fixed the drip pipe where it had split. Ran the timing station and made sure each section of the lawn was getting good coverage. It took about an hour for the entire operation.

On 8th, he checked my sprinklers and promptly fixed the one and back and then tried the ones on the side of the house. He put different heads on, but when the sprinkler was turned on, the heads blew off. He said the water pressure was too high. He turned down the water pressure, but by that time didn't have any more heads to put on. He said he wanted to put on a differently type of head that would do a better job for that location, but would have to buy them and come back another time. I asked him to disconnect that station as I was going on vacation and would have to water automatically. This he did. He called a few days later and said the head would have to be ordered. When he didn't get back before I had to leave, I told him I would be gone and if he needed in the garage where my controls are that my neighbor had the key and could let him in. He didn't make it back until 9/06 to fix them and didn't reconnect the station so the lawn didn't get watered all while I was gone. When I reconnected the station after I got back, the front head was just bubbling. I called him and he did come and took care of it. He was personable and very likeable, but I feel his price was high and that it shouldn't take over a month to do the amount of work that had to be done. Wouldn't use him again because of his price and the length of time to get my problem taken care of.
