Very professional and responsive.

The person I spoke to told me the hourly rate and said she would contact her tech and see whether they would send someone from the Carson City or Reno to do the work and that I would be contacted to set up a time. No one contacted me so I called back and was told she emailed her Reno person and she would email them again. I have heard nothing back.

Angie's List made it easy to order services and I thought the deal was a fair price. However, the service provider was negative about Angie's List right off the bat. Complained about trying to remove the deal and about how the schedule request form was implemented. Jay instructed me right off the bat that if I needed the service done within a couple of months then I needed to get a refund. They were not willing to work on the schedule. I got the impression they were not willing to work their schedule within the pre-set deal price.

It went well. They were prompt and efficient and that's fine but they're so busy. They were there when they said and let us know when.

Last year, Celtic Landscape planted a larger maple tree in my front yard. Toward the end of the Fall season, the tree began to look like it may be dying, but I thought...it's Fall, I'll wait and see how it looks in the Spring. Long story short, the poor tree died. Jay, the owner of Celtic was contacted and guaranteed me a replacement. Today, he and his crew were good as their word. I have a beautiful new tree in my front yard, and I couldn't be happier! NOTE!!! I had posted a more negative rating and comment last year about the same dead tree and everything it took to get it here. Jay had had problems with his tree broker last year, and in turn, it caused problems for me. I want to retract my post from last year stating that I would never do business with Celtic again. Jay has proved to be a man of his word, and a business owner with integrity. We had an issue, and we worked through it together to an excellent resolution. I highly recommend Celtic for your landscaping needs.

Celtic Lawn and Landscape did an excellent job. They delivered the project as promised and did so in a timely fashion. Jay and his landscape crew were easy to work with and most responsive to modifications we made along the way. Entire crew was competent and professional. Very happy with the outcome and can highly recommend them to others in the community.

They are great. They showed up, they were on time, and they did what they were asked to do and more. They were also fast. They were very well priced.

I made an appointment with Celtic for lawn services at my home in Carson Valley and my mother's home in Carson City. They told me they would come out sometime on Saturday to give me an estimate. They never showed. They did not call. I chose another company "Lawn Pro" and the owner, Shane Bell kept the appointment, gave me an honest estimate and I signed a contract with them for my house and my mothers home in Carson City. HIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL - VERY COURTEOUS AND HIS CREW OF GUYS IS THE BEST!!!!!!! - Don't waste your time with a company that wastes your time by not showing up when they said they would. Just bad business practices, and that usually translates to bad business practices overall. I am so please with the new company and I would never have met them IF Celtic hadn't blown the interview with me. So, I will thank Celtic for that mistake that made it possible for me to find Lawn Pro.

Rock arrived on time, and I am satisfied. My maple tree has also been planted and the yard looks great! I'm very happy with the service and would recommend Celtic, and I would work with them again.

They are a local company. He stayed here for about 20 minutes and gave us some ideas on what we could do. We felt that his prices were a little bit high. They were more than what we would want to pay for something that we could get the neighbor kids to do. We just thought that it was a bit expensive. But he was good enough to come over and give us some pointers and that was good. He is a very nice and pleasant guy. He gave us individual prices like how much it would cost to get two of his guys over to clean out the rear stirred of our half acre parcel so we were looking at $72 an hour. We just could see doing that. We are seniors on fixed incomes and we did not have the range to do that. That is one thing that he quoted. These may be the going rates in the area. We do not know since this is the first time we called for any questions like that. He quoted $72 an hour to cut down weeds in the back yard and it is probably three or four hour job. We have a lot of 4 foot high weeds here and that would be around $400. We also needed some valves put in. He actually said that he would give us the name and number of someone who would actually do that kind of work. We have not followed up on that yet. My husband has been very ill and we have not been able to take care of a lot of this. He was a very nice guy, very positive, very customer service oriented, and very easy to talk to. He gave us pointers that we could do and we appreciated that a lot. So we had an idea where we could start. We know he is very busy but was able to fit us into his schedule which we really appreciated. He was very forth coming as far as what they charge, just looked around the property we have half an acre here and gave us some ideas on what we could do. My husband and I talked about it and right now we cannot afford to have it done. We are going to get family, going to get our grandkids here and we need to keep them busy.

I was really hoping for great service from these guys after the good reviews on here. Unfortunately I never got the opportunity, as they did not come and do an estimate when they said they would, and then didn't return my phone calls/email after that.

I called Celtic because it was recommended by Angies List. They have returned my call promptly. Jay came to my home within 2 days of my call. All services offered were detailed and priced. Auto-payment was offered which made things easier for me. The date of first service was set to clean up the yard for spring. A call was made as a reminder prior to coming out to my home. A day of the week was set for regular weekly service and they have been on time on the date requested. All pricing is flat rather than hourly and several workers are sent out each time to finish the work promptly.

We had a leak in the valve on our sprinkler system. I called Celtic and was given an appointment the end of the week. The man came on time and fixed the sprinkler. When we turned on the system, it was discovered that several pipes had large cracks. This was found after digging up a large protion of the yard. The total price was about $500 for five hours work and parts. Seemed reasonable but I would have liked it for less.

We are very pleased with everything that was done and highly recommend Celtic.

Excellent service. Price was significantly below competition. Schedules were met, no cost surprises, easy to work with, accomodating to our schedule needs. Quality of the work was excellent. I would use them again and recommend them for work with anyone.
