+ -1 moreOverall, this project was painless - almost fun - and extremely gratifying -- from start to finish. Ken, the owner, came out to look at what I wanted done and told me what gravel colors he had available. I had explained to him what colors I would be painting my house and the extent of the gardens I was in the process of designing and planting. He and I agreed on gold. He estimated 20 yards of gravel. We set a delivery date and he was there when he said he would be. Very personable man. A few days later, we had set up a worker to spread the gravel. It was hot and I should have set up two men. The worker came back the following day, early, and got the job done. Remember, this is a 40-plus miles is a considerable drive after working in 100-degree heat, pushing a wheelbarrow of gravel up an incline over and over for 6 hours - and that was just the second day. I called Ken to thank him and also that I would recommend him and his company to others.
Description of Work: The owner himself came out promptly to give me an estimate for gravel for my front driveway and front and back gardens. The next day he came with color samples. We arranged a date for 20 yards to be delivered. It was on the dot. Ken had names of workers who could spread the gravel for me at my convenience. Done deal. I'm still getting compliments from the townspeople - very small town. Most important, I am incredibly pleased; probably increased the value of my house substantially and Ken was very polite, professional and had the exact color for what I wanted to accomplish. I ought to mention that his company is 40 miles away. That's a long trip for 20 yards of "gold" gravel. And it had been rinsed THREE times. No dust, and no bleeding.
