Description of Work: I have used EP Repair for my appliance repair for a couple of years. They are a very small business and I have been completely satisfied with their service. I found the cost of the repairs to both my washing machine and my refrigerator to be cost effective and fair. And the repairmen were both knowledgeable and professional. I fully recommend these guys.

Description of Work: Accented the warrantee work and scheduled the work today. I blocked off the entire day for him but he called this morning to cancel and said he did not get the ticket. I realize I am in a rural city 45 minutes from his shop, but a call yesterday would have been great. Whirpool was if little help. Whirpool said his office accepted the ticket.

Description of Work: I contacted the owner of EB Repair Services regarding the performance of our 10 yr. old washer. I described the washer performance & he listened over the phone to the awful noises the machine was making. When I told him the age and model of the machine, he said we were fortunate to have gotten 3 to 4 years of service with this particular model. He said he would gladly repair it (if it was repairable) but that we would be better off by purchasing a new machine instead of throwing good money after bad. He could have paid us a visit & charged a $65.00 service call and installed a 200.00 dollar part plus labor. I researched his information and found he was correct about our old machine. This particular model was junk! We purchased a new machine at a "big box" retailer. I appreciated his honesty & I would call him again for service.

Description of Work: This company provided me with warranty work for my Decor Propane (high altitude) oven. He did not have a problem finding our remote location, & was used to getting around the various communities in our part of the county here in the mountain of southern NM. A computer board had to be replaced on our oven, He also offered his telephone assistance at any time in the future.

+ -1 moreI'm perfectly happy with them because I have in such a rural area. I would hire them on my own. I've been using them for at least 3 or 4 or may be 5 years. I don't have a choice as they are contracted with Sears, but the fellow that always comes out to help me talks to me. I'm a widow so he'll sit here and he'll explain it to me. He just doesn't come and fix it; he tries to explain to me as to what's going on. They call me in the morning to let me know when they'll be out and they are always out within that time frame. I've never had a problem where they don't show up when they say they are going to. I don't know the amount specifically since it's under a service contract, but once upon a time he was somewhere in the neighborhood and he told me that it would be $55 or $60 if he had to come out on his own. He was able to fix my refrigerator. He has also worked on my new range. I don't know what other people charge in the market place here to do repair like that, but they are reliable and he's not afraid to take the time to explain things to me. The quality is fine because they use Sears parts. Once it's fixed, it's fixed. Their responsiveness is an issue. They only come to our part of the world on Wednesdays and Fridays, but one would not be waiting throughout the week for someone to show up. They'll be here by Wednesday or Friday if they call. It takes time to get parts and that probably could be the reason, but I can take into consideration that I neither live in a big town nor live near a big town. He's probably on the high-end of responsiveness for our area. Their punctuality and professionalism is positive. They'll give a 4 hour window, but they are here within the 4 hour window. I'll call them first even if I was paying for them on my own.
Description of Work: My appliances are all under a service contract and the service provider is E B Repair Services Inc. I was having problems with my refrigerator so they were here at end of January.

+ -1 moreTHE TECHNICIAN OPEN THE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER EVALUATED AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UNIT. THE TECH REPLACED THE HEATING ELEMENT ON THE FREEZER SIDE OF THE REFRIGERATOR. HE ALSO NOTICED A MISALIGNMENT OF THE RIGHT HINGE OF THE DOUBLE DOOR REFRIGERATOR AND CORRECTED IT. HE HAD HIS OWN LITTLE VACUUM CLEANER AND CLEANED HIS WORK AREA BEFORE LEAVING.HIS PROFESSIONALISM, PUNCTUALITY WAS EXCEPTIONAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Mr. ED CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK! MY HATS OFF FOR E and B REPAIR! CHAS OLIE
