+ -1 moreI contacted the contractor, he personally came to evaluate the job. He is flexible and agreeable to discussing different options available for completing the work with the homeowner. Written estimates are free. We agreed upon a start date, he arrived on time and began the work. He took the necessary time to ensure measurements were accurate and that the work proceeded with precision. He returned several times to complete the different aspects of the job, for example, the tile mortar, then the grout had to set and cure before the next steps were accomplished. He is honest and dependable and highly recommended.
Description of Work: TEK Services cut wall penetration, installed 20' of exterior insulated double wall stovepipe, wall thimble, tee, roof flashing, counter flashing, cap, and all interior pipe and fittings to complete installation of wood/coal stove. Prepared wall surface, removed baseboard, cut to size and installed cement backerboard for wall heat protection, cut and installed 20"x20" cermic tile, grouted tile, reinstalled baseboard, electrical outlet, cleaned work area thoroughly inside and out. Very professional, very timely, excellent outcome. Highly recommended.
