The technician arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. we discussed various options for cleaning the drain and I chose power jetting based on the technician's recommendation for our situation. Unfortunately, they only have one machine so it could not be done until the following Monday at the earliest (three day wait). Since I needed to be able to use the sink, I opted for power drain snake procedure. We also explored replacement of the garbage disposal but they only carried an inferior brand so I opted to simply have our old one removed and the needed drain piping installed. This took longer than expected due to the technician failing to pick up all of the parts needed to complete the task and having to return to their parts supplier. The work was eventually completed satisfactorily. The tech cleaned up nicely and the piping continues to work well three weeks later. I would possibly use TLC again, but would seriously consider others based on this experience.

The plumber claimed that a 50 gallon boiler may not "pass city inspection". What inspection??? So we settled on 80 gallons, unnecessarily large for us. Then he claimed he was installing a "top of the line"model, and charged us $3900. Turns out that such a heater costs $1200 at Home Depot. Add 3 hours of work and it should be no more that $2000. Then I specifically asked to set the thermostat to 120 degrees, and at the end, asked him again if he had done so. He claimed he had! However, it turned out that the water was set to 140 degrees, and I fixed it myself. Then he tried to sell us softening systems and sediment filters. Having emptied the old heater, there were obviously no sediments at our location. Totally dishonest!

Repairs done incorrectly. TCL believes they should send technician to fix this at their convenience, not mine. They caused the circulating hot water to not work. Broke the system. When I called the next day (Friday) to report the problem I was told the fastest they’d fix their problem was Monday. Told me the guy would come here BEFORE he started his other scheduled work. Didn’t show. When I called to find out what was happening I was told that he would come over at his convenience and I would have to wait all day. Also denied they told me he’d be here first thing This still has not been resolved. But they have hundreds of my money. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS

It was nice to have the suggestions and options. He was kind. I would highly recommend.

Fine. I was able to obtain a Preventive Maintenance Contract that will include servicing the A/C units in the Spring. I thought the price was high compared to my last home, but it is of course a different market. The technicians were professional and punctual and answered all my questions. That's most important

I can't say enough good things about TLC. I got a couple of price quotes, one of which took a week to obtain after the representative visited my home. The TLC person came to my home the day I called, gave me a quote that afternoon which was comparable with the other quotes and a four unit system was installed four days later-in late June. The technicians were all pleasant, taking great care to clean up after their work, courteous and professional. They took great pains to be sure that the system was did not adversely impact the aesthetics of my home. I would use them for any future jobs.

They were quick, responsive and fair. The job was done in about an hour.

The installers arrived on time and completed the work in a few hours. We are loving the ease of operation of the new cooler and the cooling effect of the new system.

He said that the condenser needed to be taken out and turned around. He estimated it to cost $400.00 to do the job.

They were really good about getting out and getting the issued resolved. Their pricing is a little expensive but you get good service.

I ordered an HVAC inspection on a house I was buying in Rio Ranch, I was in Florida.. I got a vague 3 sentence description on the $310 receipt. After 2 days, I asked where my report was and they said on your receipt. I had sent them a list of information I wanted, moke, model, age, etc and they didn't include any of it. They did not even ell me the brand of the units! When I pushed them they got testy. After a week of daily email and phone call I finally got an estimate for replacing the Air Conditioner. TLC defines incompetence and arrogance. You will be very sorry if you hire these guys. UPDATE 02/27/2018: TLC has apologized for the mix-up about the HVAC inspection report and has refunded their inspection fee in full.

The service person was on time and profesional. He changed out the leaking faucet for a new one. It took less than 15 minutes of his time. I was surprised that the company applied a fixed, pre-determined rate for the job. It cost $196.00 dollars despite the limited cost of the replacement part and the short time that the repair took. The job was done well, but there is a discrepency between what was done and the cost.

Was way to expensive and would not use this vendor again, even though the problems were solved. Marcos, our plumber, was excellent.

We had an appointment (made weeks ago) for 1pm to flush out the radiant heating system. The tech called while we were out in the morning asking if he could come early. We said we would be home by 1 in time for our scheduled appointment; he showed up at 1:35. The work was done okay, but he wrongly overcharged us 90 minutes for 50 minutes of work.

I called and left a message over a holiday weekend. I was called immediately after the holiday. They had someone out to my house before another business even called to make an appointment. The service was great, professional and I have not had any more trouble. I was very impressed.

Great- very professional and courteous. They called to let me know they were on their way and cleaned up after completed job.

Performed work after hours. Work done in efficient manner.

They're very good. They're very prompt. Very easy to schedule with. Very easy to have them be on time. The guys are courteous. I've used them for three years now I think for spring and fall. Turn the AC on and the heater off and reverse in the fall. They clean everything up. They clean up good. No problems, no complaints.

I was able to make an appointment quickly, and the office staff and plumber were both extremely professional and great to work with. The plumber came prepared and did the work in approximately an hour (removing tree roots that had grown into the drain line). I was charged a very reasonable price for the hour of work. We'll definitely stick with TLC for our future plumbing and heating needs.

I just think he's excellent. It took one day.

They did a great job 3 times. They showed up on time, they are professional in every way and pleasant. For the boiler emergency, the plumber came up with a creative solution to stop the leak when the exact replacement part was not available at any plumbing supply places in Santa Fe. (The boiler was pouring water, it was cold weather, I was freaking out.) For the first toilet, we chose a model that could not be easily installed, so TLC returned it and got one that did not require drilling into the floor. A few months later they picked up the second toilet for us, arranged for us to pay for it through the supply company, and delivered. TLC is our go-to plumber for sure. One more little thing......A month ago when I was getting our car fixed, I was walking along the road near Java Joe's. I noticed a struggling drifter type with a shopping cart full of stuff, pushing it over the bumpy dirt along the road. He hit a big bump and the cart tipped and dumped his huge pile of stuff all over the dirt. A TLC truck was stopped nearby, also getting coffee. A man from TLC left his coffee and went to the other man and helped him get all his things back into his shopping cart. That's the kind of company I like to hire.

They did an extraordinary job on the new shower, and a quick good enough job on the faucets. None of the basin stoppers they installed worked, though, and it was really tough to get a response and a correction on these basin stoppers. We finally had to pay someone else to do the work they should have done. One of their guys got a call, said he had to go but would be back, and failed to either come back or phone us. My impression is that they may be overbooked, and some seem to have customers who insist on a particular plumber.

I definitely was not impressed with their willingness to do anything on refrigeration and their bid was very high. I've had other things through them and they're good, we use them regularly. It was a couple of thousands. It was a bid I took and they didn't want to flex on it. I did not get a response from them. It was $2000 above the price that I took.

TLC was flawless. They gave me a window "between 3 and 5 pm," and their plumber came at 3:00 on the dot. He was personable and professional, and he finished the work in 40 minutes. The $125.00 charge is the going first-hour rate for service work so it was exactly what I'd expected.. Full disclosure: before I retired I was a GC in midtown Manhattan. To this day, having to call a plumber I don't know fills me with dread. So yes, I'll call them again, and recommend them. Both the office staff and the plumber they sent made this a pleasure.

Didn't take too long 30-45mins max and hot water working perfectly after visit.
