Description of Work: Wanted a major bathroom remodel, never got past the estimate part.

Description of Work: Due to the non-standard nature of my home's construction, I needed to find a special sized dishwasher. Once a store agent met with me, she was quick to find what would suit my needs. I was aware special orders rarely qualify for discounts; which explains the higher than average cost; plus it was a Bosch. At any rate, the installation was scheduled for a specific time, as I would be leaving town. But red flags arose over the mention of the "plumber's" name. Previously, I had a "no show" and "no call" from the same plumber who is contracted with Ferguson's on St. Michael's. Sierra called the plumber and committed the time and date of installation. Sierra admitted that this particular plumber was, unfortunately, contracted by several Santa Fe appliance merchants. Bottom line, the plumber, AGAIN, failed to show nor call me! I contacted Sierra and my customer rep., although her day off, telephoned me. Due to the "freeze", the plumber had responded to the city's emergencies rather than follow though with the business contract. I was provided with two options: 1) an immediate refund or allow the plumber to install the dishwasher, at no cost, later in the day. As I was leaving town, I accepted the refund. Seemingly, the plumber is a liability to Sierra and I told them so. Although they have a lovely showroom with quality appliances, I will take my business elsewhere. For those who have no time constraints, I would advise buying appliances and hiring your own plumber.
