SCS&STOVECO LLC, has served in the industry of chimney cleaning , inspections I II III for homeowners, realtors, contractors, Architects and all New Mexican’s residing in our great state. SCS is the authorized dealer for all Osburn Wood, Pellet stoves and inserts , American Hearth DV gas fireplaces, Majestic DV gas inserts, Napoleon products, and a complete line of Caps, standard/Custom sizes, Dampers, all types, screens, accessories of all types, depending on your needs. SCS is skilled in scanning your flues, prefabs,stove pipes, dryer vents and air duct systems. SCS uses the newest ,SNAPLOK Rotary Chimney System , making it easy and quick to aid realtors serve their clients easily and efficiently providing professional results and utilize the FERRET sweeps smart tool.smart choice camera for dryer vents and difficult places that need a camera to diagnose the venting system in question. Description of Work: These two nice young men were Chimney Sweeps. This needed repair to our Gas Fireplace was a sealed unit and somewhat more technically superior to the older types of Gas Log Fireplaces and one gentleman watched and the other worked. I retrieved the users manual for the unit and he troubleshot it and called someone to get help and it was decided that the faulty part was a overall control unit. They did not have one but found a supplier locally and they called and verified that the needed unit was carried there. The suggestion to me was that I go buy it and if I could install it then all is OK. If I needed them to install it, there would be a labor charge. I chose to go buy it and install it myself. I did that and the fireplace worked. If he did not have my users manual, he would not have been able to troubleshoot the unit. That is OK, however, since we got the fireplace working. But I would not use them again. I would just go and fix it myself.
