Santa Fe Electric

Contacted Santa Fe Electric to install a standard electrical receptacle in a walk-in closet. Contractor was punctual and completed the job in less than one hour. Very pleased with outcome. Moreover, this was a small job which also served as an audition for another, slightly larger project.

Speedy and quality service.

I called Mr. Peter Montoya at about 2:20 on 12/1and left a message asking him to return my call. Within the hour he returned my call and we spoke about why I called him. He was at the house within 15 minutes. He removed the broken bulb from the socket. collected minimal payment and was on his way. He charged less than his usual rate since he was here briefly.

For the first time in about three years, our bathroom jacuzzi is working! All the other work was done in an excellent way also. We have only the highest praise for Peter Montoya.

Peter was delayed twice due to unexpected work, but came after 5:00PM. He spent an hour trying to find our problem, and after trying several things, the problem was solved. He refused any payment because he said we'd had to wait on him all day! He was knowledgeable and efficient, and pleasant to work with. We will certainly call on him again

Peter Montoya , aside from being a nice person, is very professional and can fix almost anything. Enjoyed having such a responsive electrician.

Peter was great! We had a good time with him and he solved a couple of our issues right off the bat and fixed a mis-wired wall switch in just a few minutes-- it was unexpected as we didn't think he'd do any work while he was here for the estimate. He didn't charge us for that work, instead saying he'd call the next week with an estimate for the work we wanted done and we'd just call it even if we hired him. However, he never reached out as he said, but we didn't get back in touch with him either (yet). We would still be happy to have him do some more work for us. And we'd still like that estimate. ;)

Peter was very knowledgeable and friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently and finished both jobs within one hour. He arrived on time and ready to work. I will recommend him to my friends and neighbors, and will definitely call him when I need another electrical repair.

Great, I love the way he acted, did not over-charge for it and was just terrific! He came out and undid all the wirng under the sink to search for the issue. He was very good about it.

Peter arrived at our home and was very professional. We discussed the issue we were having with outdoor lights not coming on as well as a circuit breaker that would not stay on. He did a thorough investigation of everything and quickly found the problem. He could NOT have been nicer. I highly recommend this electrician. We had never used him before, and I got on Angie's List and found him.

They never called me back so I cannot comment on the quality of the work.

I highly recommend Peter Montoya, Santa Fe Electric! He's extremely knowledgable, absolutely professional, very patient with instructions, and exceptionally pleasant. His assistant was equally as professional and pleasant. Both were very respectful of property. He was also on time. One of the exterior repairs was in a difficult location and required much more time than expected, so I felt the price for all was warranted. I will definitely refer him to others and call him again if needed. Wish I had found him long ago!

He was an hour late but made up for it by working quickly and doing a great job. He traced the poer shortage to a plug in where the wires had been removed by the previous hous owners. So he ran new wiring and did this the easiest and fastest way to help keep the costs down. He also changed out seveal plugs that wer broken and re set one plug to the 2x4 and installed new wire and plug into the clost. I was very pleased with his work.Fe

They were so good and very nice. Peter and his assistant Antonio were great! They were right on time.

I live in the village of Pecos which is 25 minutes away from Santa Fe where the company operates. An appointment was set for 2 p.m. Peter and his assistant were at my residence ten minutes before the appointed hour. Both were courteous and friendly, and began their work immediately. They removed every electrical plug to check the wiring and performed a myriad of tests to determine the problem. They finally narrowed it down to a part that had to be replaced. However, it was now obsolete and a replacement part had to be purchased in Santa Fe. Peter graciously drove back to Santa Fe, purchased the part and returned shortly after 5 p.m. to install it. He tested the circuit and the replacement part fixed the problem. I would also note that as they removed and reinstalled every ectrical plug, they carried a small vacuum to clean up any debris that fell out of the device opening. Peter and his assistant were competent, diligent, clean and friendly.

Peter and Berto were great. They fixed a number of electrical issues in mom's custom home and informed me of why bulbs were burring out so quickly on the external lights (apparently transformers in Santa Fe can fluctuate from 110-160V output) and gave me an idea of what to look for when buying replacements (bulbs rated at 120V won't cut it). Peter also suggested what I need to purchase for my house for code-compliance and longevity. They were very knowledgeable, very friendly, and did a great job! I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! He was on time. The positive is that he answered and returned my call. I called another electrician before and they never returned the call. I wanted one local here and so he was the one and he did a good job.

Great! The two technicians arrived on time. They completed the great room fan first. Then, showed us exactly how to operate it. Then, they installed the bedroom fan and showed us how to use it. Also, explained about the "weights" used on the bedroom fan and when we might need to use them.

Peter was terrific. We called him on a Saturday with an emergency (smoke pouring into room) and he was at our house within hours and had all of our problems fixed. We have looked far and wide in NM for an electrician that we can trust and we finally found him.

Superior and prompt service. I called Santa Fe Electrical after another electrician cancelled on me. Santa Fe Electric asked a few questions, I sent him a few pictures, and he was at my house (20 minutes outside of Santa Fe) about an hour-and-a-half later. He was honest and trustworthy. He give us tips on how to save money for some other projects we will ask him to help us with in the future. I highly recommend him!

When I first called Santa Fe Electric to my house they werent' able to do the work because it was going to be a bigger job than expected. So we agreed to reschedule. They didn't charge me for that visit and I can guarantee most companies would have. I called them back several weeks later to do my repair and also had a handful of other jobs to be completed. We were extremely happy with their work. They fixed some electrical messups from another company and I am pleased to say everything is working wonderful and we were extremely happy with their work. Very nice people, professional and the cost was extremely reasonable considering the amount of work we had done. We will most definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.

Called Santa Fe Electric for an estimate, i accepted the estimate and the work was completed the next day no surprises.
