Description of Work: Checked and replaced 2 faulty GFI outlets. Peter also checked the dishwasher and found it was not an electrical problem and didn't have to be replaced. He and his helper were very helpful and professional - would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: This company came to my home to provide an estimate. The owner called me back a few days later to give me the cost and schedule the appointment. We agreed that he would complete the work the following Friday and would call to confirm the appointment the night before. I never heard from them again! Don't waste your time calling them.

+ -1 moreWhile in Santa Fe to visit my mother, I called Santa Fe Electric to obtain a quote regarding the above jobs. I called and left a message and Peter Montoya promptly returned my call. After I described what I needed done, Peter quoted me approximately $50 for materials. He charges $110 for the 1st hour of labor and $85 per hour after (averages out to about $98 an hour). He figured at least two hours for the job but was hesitant to give an overall quote but placed it at around $300.
Description of Work: Job #1)Installation of an outdoor GFI electrical outlet next to a fish pond which would have required drilling through the outside wall and tapping into the bedroom electrical outlet OR tying in to the outside security light and running shielded conduit to the pond location approximately 25 feet away. Job #2)Removing and replacing two bum dimmer switches in the kitchen.
