It was fine. The scheduling worked out good and everything was perfect. They got the job done in about 20- 30 minutes.

Roadrunner was professional and prompt. The technician went above and beyond when he went to ACE to get the proper filters for the rooftop unit. They will be our Heating and AC service provider in the future.

Mark & Tim arrived promptly, shortly after noon. They introduced themselves, set up a drain line to drain old tank. Inspected old fittings, and confirmed my suspicions that the old inlet fitting needed to be replaced. I showed them old H/W circulation pump that was to be transferred to the new tank. They proceeded to remove old tank & fittings. Vacuumed up both solid and liquid detritus as they went. Installed new tank. Showed me how to start & set gas fitting. Very professional demeanor - they worked quickly and accurately. (I got the feeling that they had done this before.) They completed the installation under two hours. The area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived.

The service was fast and efficient. They were extremely personable and informative about the job. They also made sure to clean up after the job was completed. They called a few hours after the job was completed to make sure the system was running smoothly.

Tim Sandoval was the contractor. He called me within 24 hrs to schedule my appointment. Arrived right on time, ran all the tests promptly and explained each step to me as he tested the entire system. I was surprised how honest he was in telling me that my system was in great shape and no other work was needed. I will definitely call Roadrunner A/C Heating & Plumbing for any plumbing or heating issues I have in the future, and I will refer them to my friends.

He was responsive in arranging a time to come over and look at the hot water for an estimate but before he even saw the water heater he said there would be additional charges. The estimate ended up to be $300 over the big deal amount for a low-end water heater.

First of all, when I called someone actually answered the phone. This is very unusual in Santa Fe. Second, they showed up the same day I called, also very unusual for Santa Fe. They diagnosed my old heater, and installed a new one. Very fast, professional service. I have also used them to startup and winterize my evaporative cooler on my rental property and at my house. These guys do such a good job that I don't have to worry about it being done right. Such a relief in Santa Fe to find a good contractor!

The new furnace, central air conditioner, air filtration system and programmable comfort control were all new Trane products. I also received estimates from three of Derek Cunningham's competitors. Mr. Cunningham was chosen because of the thoroughness of his estimate, the high quality of the products (Trane), and the overall price. The project was started on time and finished on time. There were no additional charges or "add-ons" during the project. Mr. Cunningham and his crew were professional and courteous. They cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. After installation was complete, Mr. Cunningham followed up the project by personally checking to make sure everything was functioning properly and that the work was to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Roadrunner A/C, Heating and Refrigeration and would use his services again. And did! A few months later I needed a new sink installed in the master bathroom and a new garbage disposal in the kitchen. As before, they were timely, professional and courteous. Great work. Thanks Derek.

Derek, the Santa Fe proprietor, is fabulous. He shows up on time (even on nights and weekends), is a great trouble-shooter, is very fair about what does and does not need to be done, and gets the job completed no matter how late he has to stay. I had had a lot of trouble with heating contractors in Santa Fe and had a lot of shoddy work done before I found him and his company. Last year, he recommended a new heating unit, because mine needed repeated (expensive) repairs. He did the installation, ironed out the bugs to get things running smoothly, and charged me a fair price. My heating bills have actually gone down even though the unit is slightly bigger than the one I had. I trust him completely and always recommend him to my friends.
