Description of Work: We came home after being gone two weeks and found the house flooded from a broken water filter. We called Paul Davis and within two hours on a Sunday night a big crew came with a large truck mounted vacuum, dehumidifiers, heaters and fans. The next day another crew came to inventory, pack, and haul to storage everything in the house. When the house was empty and dried out restoration began with removal of water damaged dry wall and carpeting. Over the next weeks they replaced the damaged dry wall and baseboards, painted all of the walls and woodwork, refinished kitchen cabinets, installed new countertops, and made plumbing repairs. After installation of new carpets the property movers brought everything back from storage and placed it pretty much where it came from. (Only complaint--not everything was put in its former place, lots of "search and discovery".) Nothing of significance was missing, but it might turn up in unexpected places. The workmen and women were skilled and hardworking. The work was professionally done with only minor call backs. They were completely responsive to all requests and questions. Description of Work: The staff from Paul Davis Restoration was hired to clean a restroom that was heavily vandalized by spray paint. PDR came in as scheduled on the weekends and put a great effort into cleaning and scrubbing off the graffiti. THe work was so good, I had to have them scrub the rest of the RR that was not vandalized! They are prompt and dependable. Very good, hardworking staff. I have used them for 3 projects over the last 6 years and am always pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Provided estimate for repair of leak damage. Estimate was way over the top.

Description of Work: Removed wall cabinets in affected area, removed wet wallboard and ceiling, dried the area, replaced the walls and ceiling, painted. Took up damaged wood flooring, replaced it all, then replaced the wall cabinets, did touch-up work.

Description of Work: Mike brought in the right people to take care of a water leak and mold that had not been properly addressed by another company (they just sucked up the water and accepted another plumber's stupid explanation). Mike brought in someone to cut the drywall, take out the wallboards and carpet strip, an environemnetal team to test the mold/air (came out OK), and then restored everything, inclduing texturing and painting. Martin did a great job A-Z, even was willing to work the weeknd to get the job done! The only person not on his team was a plumber--but Mike recommended someone who found the issue--a bumb rubber ring. Martin installed an access panel for the tub. Even put the cabinet bed back together. Great that I didn;t have to call several companies and coordinate them all.

Description of Work: At 6:30 aam I awoke to the loud sound of gurgling in my bathroom toilet and discovered a City-caused sewer backup. By 8 am the city had found the cause sand stopped the sewage flow. By 10 am the Paul Davis Restoration crew was there and began the cleanup which, fortunately involved only the bedroom. I was amazed with their speed and professionalism. They removed all the furniture and damaged rugs, etc dried out the area, removed flooring and 2' of sheet rock from the walls, disinfected the entire area and the stench was gone--that was the first day. The second day they re-disinfected the area and replaced the sheetrock. By the end end the third day the walls were re-painted and flooring was down. I was able to move back in on the fourth day. | |Their crews came in on time, knew exactly what to do and how to do it. They were all helpful, considerate and respectful at all times. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do I know who to call. | |I cannot speak to the cost of the restoration because the charges were covered by the City's insurance and I don't remember seeing a final bill.

Description of Work: PDR sent over technicians who spoke very little English, certainly not enough to convey to us what they found and what repairs were required after a flooded carpet after a plumbing problem.

Description of Work: Paul Davis Restoration repaired extensive damage to kitchen floor and cabinets due to water leak under the slab. Contact and discussions with their supervisor and estimator, Mike Stephenson, were always prompt and clear by cellphone. Staff friendly, competent and worked quickly at each stage of the process. Workmanship on the repair of cabinets was excellent. All work, including mold remediation and testing, accomplished in one week per their original schedule.
