Randy was supposed I to fix a leaking kitchen faucet, but left it in much worse shape. He became indignant and rude when I asked him to come fix his work. He is arrogant and will not stand behind his work. Go elsewhere for your plumbing needs...

Response from Moya Enterprises Plumbing Heating & Hvac
First off I was called out to fix a toilet. I landed up fixing two toilets and was asked to look at the kitchen faucet. I mentioned it may have to be replaced. communication with this Customer was very poor on her end, as I mentioned phone calls please not emails. I’ve been in business for over 25 years and never had an issue with anybody, we know who the real problem is, vulgar language, etc. I do not work for people like that. I definitely was willing to come over and resolve the issue I advised her we may have to replace it, and there would be a cost, her response to me was F* and hung up.

He has done a great job. He is really reasonable. He was able to fix a problem with my refrigerator that three other plumbers would not do.

Randy and his assistant Mark were great. Their work was top-quality. They tracked down all the leaks and decided which piping needed to be replaced, and which could be re-used. They explained each step in the process to me, and why they were doing it the way they were. They showed me most of the leaks personally. (I was not present for the early stages of the job.) They worked long and hard into the first evening, and explained what the plan was for the following day. They came back the next day and continued on and worked until we had hot water again. They initially tested with compressed air, and then, after the natural gas was hooked up, went back and tested everything for full operation.
Description of Work: Randy converted our house from propane to natural gas. This required replacement of the LP-only water heater, conversion of a boiler for hot water heat, a forced-air heating system, and a Bosch stove. In the process of a pressure test, he discovered 9 leaks in the current piping system and all that piping had to be replaced. The house is 23 years old.

Randy responded to my phone call soon after I made it, came over that day (Saturday!) and worked late to solve the problem when the part came in and the job was completed. These were practices that really helped me with my tight schedule. Very friendly professional!

I called Randy for three reasons: 1) to check the ice maker in the refrigerator, 2) to install a faucet, and 3) to check for leaks and make sure the dishwasher was working. The ice maker just didn't seem to be working at all. Randy took a look and discovered that the water was off to the unit. He found that the ice maker works, but there was a leak internal to the refrigerator. So he turned the water supply off and suggested I call an appliance repairman to fix the fridge. He did not charge me for his investigation/recommendation. I had just moved in after renters had been here for a year, and found mold under the sink. I knew of a previous leak, so I wasn't sure if the mold was just left over from that, or if there was a current leak. Also, while cleaning the mold, I thought I might have pulled the connection to the dishwasher and wanted to know it was okay to use. Randy investigated and told me there was no leak and I could use the dishwasher. He did not charge me for the assessment. He did find that the knob to the hot water supply was broken, and it couldn't be turned off there, it had to be turned off at the water heater. Randy tried to install the faucet, but found it would not work with my sink (3 vs. 4 holes). He explained what I needed, and said to call when I bought one that would work. He didn't charge me then. Randy also reminded me that he had bypassed one of the thermostats last year when the renters were not getting heat, and had suggested we replace the thermostats at that time as the current ones were not compatible with the system. I remembered his advice and asked him to perform the thermostat work when he came back to fix the faucet, also we agreed that he would replace the knob to the hot water supply under the sink. That afternoon, I bought the new faucet and called Randy. He was on another job, and said that he would do it that night if it was not too late, or the next day. I told him it wasn't a rush, we should do it the next day. The next day Randy came by and installed the faucets, the hot water knob, and the thermostats with no fuss. He charged me for the 3 thermostats, plus1.5 hours of labor. It was very fair. Randy has been my plumber for years, and I have always found him responsive, courteous, and reasonable. He fixed an emergency leak for me, and came out late at night when the renter's heat wasn't working and it was very cold. I highly recommend Randy for plumbing work.
Description of Work: Installed faucet and 3 new thermostats. Also investigated potential problems with the ice maker and dishwasher.
