+ -1 moreEverything was great: prompt, courtious service, knowledgeable technician (who designed the mechanism), etc. M&M is a great company and I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Eric adjusted the closing mechanism of the garage doors, which are unusual in that they open from side to side. The closing mechanism was fabricated by Eric's grandfather about 10 years ago and has worked flawlessly ever since until we inadvertently placed an obstacle in the path of the closing doors.

+ -1 moreOther garage door repair companies were unavailable to come to our location for a week. M&M was able to come one day after our call. Marcos arrived within 10 minutes of the expected time. He was courteous and efficient. He assessed the problem and informed us of what needed to be done. He completed the repairs and provided information we requested. The job was done well and quickly for a reasonable price. We will call M&M next time we need help with a garage door problem.
Description of Work: Repaired broken pulley and cable, lubed door rollers and hinges and torqued door fasteners.

+ -1 moreI called M&M to get the quote. They told me the installation fee (or service call) is $90 and i can order my own parts. So i placed the order online. After i received the ordered parts and i called them back, they told me the total installation cost is $400 (using my own part). In my mind, this extra $300 can not be justified by the distance between service location and their location (45min driving).
Description of Work: advised customer to order the right part and provided misleading information on quote.

Description of Work: Our garage door broke and was not able to function properly. We called M&M since they were listed as the authorized vendor for the door which was installed ten years ago. The person who took the call inquired whether we had cars "trapped" inside (we didn't) and so we scheduled a visit on a non-emergency basis. Joe Montoya, the proprietor, came up and inspected the door. After he tried to fix the door, it developed that the installer (not M&M) had botched the initial installation which resulted in the door's damage. He ordered new parts to properly install an operating door. He was back two days later to do the installation. He was prompt, courteous and did a great job. I highly recommend him.
