Very friendly and professional on the phone. I called and booked and tried to book an appointment for a friday, but they're earliest possible appointment was tuesday. I made an appointment, but they called back the next day saying they had a cancellation and could move me up to friday. The technician was on time, fast, and friendly. Overall a great company, with service unusual for New Mexico. Maybe a little expensive though.

The technician, Brad, was very prompt, called before arriving to let me know, and was extremely professional. He worked very h****** cleaning my two kiva fireplace chimneys, plus he went on the roof to check the grates and for any issues up there. He put down a lot of paper so ensure that there was no mess around the hearths. He also worked on my dryer vent for a while, found that there was an issue deep in the vent piping itself, called his office to discuss it, and advised me on this safety hazard. He was genuinely concerned with making sure I understood the configuration of the vent and the issues. He did a great job.

It was a very positive experience. Krista assisted me in setting up the appointment about two weeks ago and told me that Paul Smith would be the technician to come out. He was on time, even early! Paul was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He answered all my questions and gave me an excellent tip of how to prevent too much soot, which of course I will not tell you here ;). He even cleaned the fireplace glass door from all the soot and it looks like new. I would say he spent about 1 h working on the chimney, cleaning it from the inside and also getting up on the roof. At the end he left the workplace very clean and assessed my chimney to be in good shape (yeah!!!). The price was as quoted by Krista. ($155.00+tax). I look forward to many many roaring fires this winter, knowing that my chimney is in good hands with the Clean Sweep Team.

From the first phone call to the last good-bye, I could not have had a better experience. Krista, who took the appointment, was pleasant, easy to talk to and secured an appointment for me the next day. K.C. came out the following day, right on time, and set right to work inspecting and cleaning both of my fireplaces. Finished both in under an hour; from the inside of the house to the roof. As I had him there I asked if it would be a problem to add checking and cleaning the dryer vent --K.C. just shook his head and said not a problem. And thank the powers that be I asked him to check it -- totally clogged (no wonder it was taking so long for clothes to dry!) -- plus, a fire was surely just around the corner -- scary thought. The work I originally contracted (chimney sweeping 2 fireplaces) came in at the amount Krista quoted me, the charge for adding the inspection and cleaning of the dryer vent was very reasonable. I am totally satisfied with all results and have put them on my calendar to call for service next year.

KC, the owner, arrived on time and went to work immediately. He laid out protective coverings around the hearth and floor, carefully moved anything nearby and cleaned out every bit of ash and debris. He was up on the roof cleaning from the top down and used a vacuum at all times that never allowed any mess into my home. When he was done, he bundled up all the protective cloths and was on his way - it was short and efficient and not a spec of dust in my house. I thought I'd have to go around dusting when he left, but my home was sparkling and unmarred by his work.

Sent email messages asking for call back to three vendors. KC's Clean Seep called back the next day.. (Only one other called me with a higher quote.) KC's Clean Seep quoted a price and an approximate time to preform the job. They live in my part of town. I agreed to an appointment the next day. About 10 minutes before the appointed time, a truck arrived to off load the equipment. At the appointed time, they knocked on the door. Paul inspected the situation and explained what he was going to do. I agreed and he set up his equipment, climbed up on the roof, did what was necessary. When he came back into the house, he explained what he did and the status of the chimney. He recommended a chimney cap, explained the benefits and the different types, and gave me the necessary measurements. He cleaned the dryer vent. He adjusted the dryer so that it did not have kinks in the vent pipe. The whole job took under three hours. I called their office and paid over the phone with a credit card the exact amount they quoted. I asked and they agreed to call me in two year to sweep again.

Clean Sweep was on time, efficient and effective besides being patient with my questions of which I had quite a few! One of the team began cleaning the stoves in the main house, while another looked over the one I have in a yurt. I had a number of questions about the pipe, etc., though was not ready to have that one cleaned yet. My questions were answered to my satisfaction in a very professional, patient and informative manner. I have heated my homes for the past 30 years with wood, therefore have had quite a bit of experience. I have a feeling for how to use wood stoves in an efficient manner. What I didn't have is the information on what is actually occurring with the entire process of venting, how pinon wood burns "dirtier" than any other type and that hardwoods burn the cleanest, what happens at different temperatures and the absolute most efficient moment to close off the vents, etc., etc., etc. This is where Clean Sweep stunned me with the degree of information they have about every aspect of heating with wood. K.C. is extremely knowledgeable, a virtual walking encyclopedia re. wood combustion, types of wood, varying temperatures within the stove and how it affects the actual effectiveness of the particular heating unit, and on, and on, and on. I was really blown away about the minute details that are so very important in getting the most heat out of ones stove. Over and over I asked him "When are you going to write a book?" The information in his head is invaluable and to have it in one place for others to refer to over and over would be an enormous resource. I highly recommend using this company for all of your chimney and air duct cleaning needs. They will far exceed your highest expectations. We are very fortunate to have them right here in New Mexico. Maybe you too can give a little push for all this knowledge to be put down in written/book form for others to access! Camille of Glorieta
