James Saiz Plumbing and Heating

James and his associate (I can't remember his name, but they were very professional) arrived at our house the day after I contacted them. I had called the night before and explained that our tenant had no hot water. Although James had a full schedule the following day, he promised to work us in, and was true to his word. Because he had been here before, he knew right where to go, and I appreciated that he didn't walk through our house to get to the garage, but instead went around the side and waited for me to open the door. I thought that was very courteous, since some service professionals often just invite themselves in, which can be uncomfortable. James took a look in our hot water closet and knew immediately what was wrong (although on the phone, based on my description, he also had some ideas about what the problem could be, as he is very knowledgable about his customers' systems) and took the time to show his associate (who I took for maybe an apprentice) how he arrived at that conclusion. Having worked in education for a little while, I appreciate the value in a good teacher passing along their knowledge in a meaningful way, and I was glad to see that James was taking the time to do this with his associate, but not to the detriment of over-billing me.

I returned to the house and left them to it and about an hour later, they appeared and said the problem was fixed and that our tenant should have hot water within the hour (which he did). I can't say enough about James' professionalism, quick response time, troubleshooting skills, and overall demeanor when dealing with clients. He is an excellent and honest plumber, and we are glad to have been referred to him by our home's architect.
