They all arrived in very good condition and they all transplanted very well. I love their website; it is very searchable. I will absolutely use them again.

High Country Gardens has a fine catalog with great pics and information. It's web site is even better. I have a problem from time to time with deer so I need to purchase "deer resistant" plants and flowers. High Country Gardens has a legend that provides you info whether the plants are hardy and deer or rabbit resistant, etc. I ordered some plants to fill in where needed. There is Golden Fleece, Lavender (Silver Frost), Yarrow (coronation gold), Coreopis, Chrysanthemum (snow cap), Rudbeckia, and Daffodils for Spring of course. The plants come very safely packaged and healthy. They also provide you a "planting guide" which is very helpful. They also have a 90 day guarantee. The best thing is the fact that the plants and flowers in my garden are not the same old same old from the local nurseries. I highly recommend this company.

I first found this company on a garden website, when I was looking for yucca faxoniana plants. They were the only nursery advertising these plants. I went to their website and was really delighted with the variety of agave, yucca, and cactus they offer, along with other plants suitable for our high desert climate. They shipped my plants overnight by a mail service company with complete instructions. The way they pack their plants is just outstanding.
Description of Work: High Country Gardens is the perfect place to find the dry country plants you want for your desert garden. I have done business with them a couple of times and I am very pleased with their plants, their quick shipping and great packing, and the instructions they send with the plants. They also have some great products to protect plants from root shock when you transplant. Although I also buy plants locally, I find that it is easier to order on line from this company. They also have a wider variety to choose from than local garden stores near my home. Unless you specify otherwise, they will ship your plants at the time they should be planted in this zone. If you have questions they are easy to reach. Their prices are reasonable, and I will continue to do business with them.
