Description of Work: I had purchased two large persian rugs, sight unseen from the East Coast. Heriz Oriental Rug Service picked them up from my home and thoroughly cleaned and moth proofed them. I learned the hard way about moth damage to oriental carpets in the past, so whether you are using or storing the rugs, strongly suggest you invest in this service for your "floor art." They also rewrapped the edges of one of the rugs and sewed leather stabilizing strips to the sides. A muslim bag was made to fit one of the rugs that needs to be stored for now and they delivered them to me upon completion of all the above. Services were expensive, but very labor intensive and executed with attention to detail. I deemed all necessary to preserve these high quality rugs for generations.

Description of Work: Very professional in terms of providing an accurate estimate for the cleaning as well as advice on maintenance and care of oriental rug(s). The rug they cleaned looks wonderful; I would definitely use them again. The only criticism of the service would be that they do need to check phone messages a bit more efficiently. There was no response to several messages about setting up an appointment to return the cleaned rug, although when a human being answered the phone everything was arranged promptly and well. So only a minor quibble, given the high quality of all other aspects of the service.
