We were out of service for over 3 days, Comcast stated on several occasions that a repair person would arrive on a specified date to resolve the issue after 3 days without service. The repair person did not show up all day and the company continually gave a later repair window of time. I lost a day's worth of wages waiting for the repair person, repaired the system myself, was charged for a repair that never took place and was never reimbursed by Comcast for the loss of service. After waiting on hold for several hours, Comcast did agree to reimburse me for the repair service that never took place. I would not recommend this company.
Description of Work: internet services were contracted through comcast.

I use Comcast because they provide the fastest internet connection speeds here. The service is expensive. Whenever I've had appointments with them they were on time. It's hard to get a hold of Comcast and their service at some point can be spotty. All of a sudden we'll lose internet service and you never know why. It just gets frustrating. I will use them only because there's not a truly viable option that meets my needs.

We've been with them for a couple of years. The tv reception is good, but that's the end of anything good I can say. The cable boxes periodically malfunction causing the TVs to abruptly go blank and it's often an ordeal with comcast to get them going again, or get them replaced when they determine their equipment is malfunctioning. We are often told the equipment is malfunctioning because it is old and it will be the very equipment we just received from them. The phone service is good except when we're trying to talk to comcast service and the phone disconnects while we are trying to get assistance with one or another malfunctioning pieces of their equipment. The internet service is definitely not fast. We had no connection whatsoever for a few days, were told the modem, which they supplied, was old. They shipped a new modem and the internet connects, but not at "excellent " connection, usually "fair" and some areas of the house are dead. The desktop computer sitting right next to the modem connects slowly. In another home, out of state, this computer connected and ran really fast. When we've tried to get an adjustment to the bill for the days one tv or another is without reception, or the week and a half without internet, followed by another several days without internet or phone, due to yet another faulty modem, the people will be very nice about adjusting the charges, but when it comes time to honor their adjustments, no one has any record of it and they demand full payment. Which brings us to the monthly charges...every month goes up and up. Some of the people there, especially the techs, are very nice, but others are extremely rude. When I send in the monthly payment for the "adjusted amount" we get demanding phone calls and bills and late charges for the difference between whatever they are currently imagining our bill should be and the amount we were told we would owe to make up for the interruptions in service and the many trips to UPS to return the latest piece of faulty equipment. I am beyond weary of being on the phone these people. From comments I've read, it seems all the providers are pretty much the same. How nice it would be to find a provider with reliable equipment, consistent service, and a predictable monthly bill!.

I've had it for about 18 months. They set it up and it was all great. I pay them every month and I get my cable every day so it is all fine. They have been great. I had one issue once where one particular channel wouldn't come on. I called and they told me to reset my little box. It came on so it was all great.
Description of Work: I use Comcast Cable for basic cable.
