Description of Work: they did not show up on time, told me they would be here in an hour when I called them and then did that again and finally showed up and had the wrong technician who could not perform the service at all. I did not let them come back later.

Description of Work: The house drain to my septic tank was running slow, and the person I usually use was out of town, so I called Cartwrights. I asked for a rough estimate over the phone, but was told that they never gave out estimates. Their representative showed up on time, and cleaned out the drain, as expected. However, in the process of doing so, he told me that my system was not up to code, since it needed a cleanout to the septic tank as well as to the house. I showed him that both cleanouts were present. He asked me to run water in the house, and when I came back out, was removing his equipment from the drain. I could see a little of the video just as he was removing the camera, but he told me that my drain was offset from the tank, and that it would cost at least $2000 to fix it, unless I dug it up myself, in which case it would be 'only' $1500, and he couldn't show me the offset since his video was 'out of order' now. At least my drain is running okay, but I will never call Cartwrights again!
