This company responded almost immediately to review a job that I requested to have done. Two very polite and seemingly experienced representatives came to my home to measure and weigh a door on which I requested some kind of lift assist. After several days, hearing nothing after that initial home visit, I called and was informed that the company had sent for a hydraulic lift and would come back to install it as soon as it arrived. One then two months went by, during which time I called or emailed and was assured that "they hadn't forgotten me but were still waiting for the lift to come in." On my final call, I was informed by someone at the company that there was no record of their ever having found or ordered an appropriate lift for my door. I was subsequently given a professional recommendation to a local engineering firm by the city's Senior Building Inspector to whom I'd emailed a request for guidance. Door Techs left an excellent initial first impression, but I was very disappointed and surprised that they failed in every other way. If they had simply notified me early on to tell me that they were unsuccesful in finding a lift assist for my door, I would be happy to recommend them. Because they strung me along for months, failing to extend that most common of professional courtesies, I cannot recommend them at this time.

They were very good. They were very prompt and were here when they said they would be here. They didn’t waste time and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. They got in, got the work done and left. Their work was great and it was satisfactory. They did exactly what I wanted and their price is better than anybody else’s in town.

The job went very well, and was completed at the appointed time.
