+ -1 moreYeah, these people are a complete joke. After an agonizing three years to get our house built, they came out and said they used THOUSANDS of dollars of more materials than they did. Like, 100k or materials. We were out there with them almost every day watching and helping their “crew”, so we know that was bogus. We went to court with them and everything. They’re liars and crooks. Do NOT do business with them

+ -1 moreThey removed the old roof and installed the new one. Within 3 months the roof had several significant leaks with caused interior damage. They came out twice and repaired the roof in two spots, with one still un repaired. No interior repairs were ever made. They will not return phone calls and have still not repaired the damage. I am pretty worried about the "guarantee".

+ -1 moreBrandon and his dad Andrew was and is a joke. To get them to work was like pulling teeth. I was told a "CREW" would be out to work. It was a crew of 1. second, the crew of one put his foot through the roof and no repairs was offered. The hole is still there. The roof on the east side leaked after the crew of 2 fixed the roof. It still leaks to this day. A real pair of rip offs.

+ 2 moreI contacted them initially to schedule an estimate. I asked them to pick up a key from my rental company, which they did and they came out and inspected the property. I wasn't given a proper estimate at that time. The estimate, while it gave a price, was incredibly vague and only said things like and quot;bathroom remodel.and quot; It didn't give materials planned, etc. I contacted the company to let them know the estimate wasn't complete and I couldn't enter into a contract for $20,000 without specific details of the whole remodel. The owner said he'd work on the estimate the weekend and get me a more detailed report at the beginning of the week. I didn't hear from them for a couple of weeks, so I called them back and spoke with Helen, who represented the owner of the company and who was very pleasant and professional. She spoke with the owner and contacted me to let me know they had to postpone work because they were too booked and couldn't do the work until fall at the earliest. It would have been nice to know about the scheduling issues before waiting all of this time. Overall I found contact to be polite, professional, and friendly but unfortunately unable to complete any estimates or do any work at this time. I wish I would've known earlier so I could've made other plans.
Description of Work: I was looking to use them to remodel a rental property. I needed a complete kitchen and bath remodel, put in windows, paint, put in a new furnace, etc.

Description of Work: We called in roofers from the area for estimates for a new roof. |We called Custom several times just trying to get them to come out. When they finally did, they were late. They went about their business measuring the roof. When they were done they told us they found no spongy spots, and we had 2 layers of shingles that needed removed, and they would write us up an estimate for the next day that we could pick up. |So, the next day comes, it's not done. It took us a few days to get the estimate. When we finally did, it was twice what all the others quoted us! |And we heard from others that we did have some spongy spots that would need repaired. |Needless to say we did not get work done from them at double the cost.

Description of Work: They replaced the windows in my house. They did a good job. The windows look great and are good quality. But, it took them longer than I was told and they started later than I was told. Despite that, I would use them again.

Description of Work: I want every one to know that Custom Construction & Roofing is who I call for my every need when it comes to my home. Owner Brandon Arnoald is an honest upstanding business owner with awesome work ethics, he goes the extra mile for his customers, such a rareity today! Brandon is constantly over seeing the job and the progress of, working closely with his crew and the customer. Brandon's crew are always punctually on time, neat, and polite. At the end of the job Brandon goes over every little detail to make sure it is done and finished correctly and to the customers approval. In 2009 Custom Construction & Roofing put up an ALL new metal roof on the main house, he fabricated new gutters and down spouts. And ALL new roofs on the three smaller structures on the property. He also blew in foam insulation in the main house. What a difference! The small apt. unit out back, Custom Construction & Roofing rebuilt the West wall because it was disinagrating do to direct West Sun exposure and the elements. Brandon added insulation to the back side. Beautiful and fast work. Excellent price. As a matter of fact I have requested that Brandon come over today and give me another estimate on a new patio covering. If there is anything else I need done and need to find a "handy man," to do a smaller job for me, I ask Brandon and he is only happy to help me locate a handy man that he is familiar with about his work ethics. When in the future if I am ever in need I will always first go to Custom Construction & Roofing for an estimate and hire out the work. I am always happy with the estimate and satisfied with the end results! Thank you Brandon Arnold !

+ -1 moreThe company was great! The workers always showed up on time and worked hard. They completed it in six days, with the crew even showing up on a Saturday to finish everything. They cleaned up any mess they made and were very easy to work with. We couldn't be happier!
