COMPLETE CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION

With this company dont leave when they are working. I had a freeze my son and his friends fixed the plumbing so we could shower, I got an estimate from a very good company for the plumbing requesting that they do it. When I hired Mr.Dreager he hired someone else and charged me $300.00 more than the other company. He sent them to insulate the plumbing and was very upset that I stoped them to put in new plumbing and inspect the work he said he could do, there was also a p trap that needed to be replaced and once again I stopped them before the sheet rock was put up Mr.Dreager stating that the plumbers are attic monkeys "dont worry". When the guy came to put in the pex pipe it blew and got the new sheet rock and insulattion wet Mr Dreager said " its a good thing sheetrock is resilient" . He stooped working in early april and I called him mid May when the check came in. After multipul calls he wanted to start in Aug. I do have all contact with him documented pictures of work and recordings of conversations with him when I started to feel I might need them later. Do have him get the money from the insurance company,(this man can talk) Dont leave any one working alone watch them all the time Mr. Dreager does tell them what to do and where to cut. The work is shoty at best and beleave me he does get his money and you get alot less then you pay for.

It went OK. Just OK. The manager / owner was very professional and the salesman that came to our residence was his brother from Texas. He came while i wasn't home and based his quote on our insurance papers--one thing I didn't like. i would have preferred a quote based upon his experience instead. He also gave my wife a document to sign without me present--something I blame myself for more than the company--and on that document it stated we did not get to choose the style or color of the shingles. The actual reroofing went well. The stripping took two days as I mentioned and I am pretty sure any free hand he could find was on my roof; the actual roofers were experts out of El Paso--that was subcontracted--and they reroofed it without issue. The initial cleanup could have been better. They did a cleanup of shingles and nails (visual only) and spent about 30 minutes with a few guys to do it. We called them back and told them it wasn't good enough, and they came back and redid the cleanup and apologized. After that we found an occasional nail but that's to be expected. We also had them put in a vent for our stove. You would think they would do this BEFORE the new roof was in place, but instead it was done after. The two individuals that came spoke spanish to each other--I know spanish, and the foreman was correctly explaining how to install it to his assistant, but after I got up on the roof I saw it was done contrary to his instructions. (The stove vent was placed on top of all shingles and caulked into place.) The foreman did get on the roof to inspect his assistants work but did not make him do it again. I also did not complain--rather I just fixed it myself.
