7/16 called and left a voice mail advising that I was looking for a handyman to do a master bedroom closet organizer among other things. This person never even paid me the courtesy of a call back. Very unprofessional.

There was some confusion when I called to schedule the work because my house isn't in the area that this handyman services, although Angie's List indicated that it was. However, he was very nice and agreed to come by the day he was going to be in my area of town for another job. The coupon was for two hours of work, and he was scheduled to come at 9:00 a.m. However, he didn't arrive until 9:30, and a last minute emergency came up that required me to leave by 10:30, so he only worked for about an hour.He was very nice and got most of the work done.

He worked great! Will use him in the future. He really helped me.

I have emailed him a couple of times. He has emailed me and told me that he would call me on a certain day but did not. I went on vacation for a week and still have heard nothing from him. He was supposed to show up earlier this week on Monday but never showed up, he did send me an apology saying that he had mixed up the time/date somehow. I finally got an appointment set up for today at 9:00A.M. but he called yesterday to cancel because he had a family emergency in Texas...and I don't know if I should believe him or not.

Mike was wonderful, he gave excellent service and advice on how to care for and maintain a rental property. He spent almost two full days in our unit and worked until the job was complete. I will continue to use Mike anytime I need work on on either of my homes.

Was unable to fix either item and told me he would have Angies list refund my money since he was unable to fix anything. I have not received my refund yet.

He repaired the line leak, but the clamp popped off and he had to return to put it back on. He came back the next day to replace the pump. I was surprised at how high the bill was, compared to what I thought it would be. I greatly appreciate that he returned until the job was done well.

to be late for an appointment is unreliable, to not keep appointment is unacceptable. do not rely on this man

I purchased a service that was advertised under the Big Deal for two hours of handyman service with The Honey Do Man. He was very prompt, courteous and professional in his communication with me. Unfortunately a mistake was made in offering the Big Deal to me because I don't live in the area that he services. He was professional and courteous in explaining that to me. If he were doing work in my area I would definitely consider having him perform handyman services just based on the interactions I had.

My only concern was that he was difficult to contact in person. He has only a voicemail phone or a pager. He did call back using a blocked number which my phone did not accept. We did finally connect.

He can fix just about anything, he's amazing. No matter what's wrong in the house, the first person I call is Mike. He's done all kinds of odd jobs for me. Not only that, but he's a very nice persona and that counts! He's easy to deal with too. He doesn't ever try and talk me into doing extra and he always gives me his honest opinion. I'll never stop using his services.

I bought the Big Deal for 3 hours of handyman service for $89 and was very happy with. We were able to schedule the service very quickly. Mike (the Honey Do Man) was knowledgeable and friendly. After he finished the items on our list, he gave us some tips on home maintenance. We would definitely hire him again.

We didn't need a window or vent, he just needed to clear out the vent and lengthen the vent pipe on the roof. He spotted other problems, such as some missing shingles and vents that were redundant or subject to potential leaks because the seals around them had dried up. He snaked out the vent to the laundrry room, added to the vent pipe, sealed every vent on the roof with roofing compound, repaired the shingles, then advised me on two other problems I needed to handle to prevent leaks and repair a patio ceiling. His expertise and common sense solved the problem and saved us a lot of unnecessary work and expense that would have hidden the real problem somewhat, but not solved it. He saved us the cost of a new window or vent, and spotted and fixed problems that were in the making - roof leaks, etc. He also discovered an old roof vent that needed to be covered over.

Mike is one of the most kind, patient, and caring individuals you will ever get to know. He has been tremendous in working with me and teaching a novice home owner about what he is doing and why he is doing it. I trust him completely! Not only to know what he is doing and that what he is telling me will actually work, but he is honest beyond question in terms of only doing what needs to be done and not padding your costs with unnecessary work and expense. I truly could not have owned a home without his help. For anything major that goes wrong (like the furnace or cooler), he is as responsive as he can be to get your problem fixed quickly. He will even leave a you a message in the evening if he cannot reach you by phone during the day. There could be no better person to care for your house than Mike Raupp!
