Stone and Tile Works did an outstanding job overall. They suggested a gorgeous tile for the walls and floor and gave us a smokin' good price for it. They then helped us choose accent tile, vanity countertop and sinks. They helped design the shower area, suggested ways to prevent leaks, and helped us pick out flooring and grout colors. The help was excellent, the products were top-notch, and we love the final product. Stone and Tile also worked very well with our contractor. I would recommend them without reservation.

Overall, we were very happy with the job Stone and Tile Works did to update our Master bath. It was horribly dated (think '80s shag carpet, jacuzzi tub, tiny plastic shower.) They installed new tile on the floors and walls, new dry wall, a shower basin, two niches, a shower bench, and new plumbing for the shower. We selected and bought most of the materials (tiles, grout, niches, shower head and installation kit, de-coupling membrane for under the tile floor, electric coils for heated floor), while Stone and Tile carried out the tiling labor of floors, walls, shower bench, niches, and shower basin. The project was initially supposed to take 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately, after they finished installing the floor tile, we noticed that it was crooked. The guys who had put the tile in didn't square the room properly, so the tile was about 1" off and looked c***-eyed. Needless to say, we called the owner to come over and have a look (took him almost 2 weeks to actually make the visit, which is why they get a C for responsiveness). He agreed that it was installed incorrectly. So, at no cost to us, they ripped up the floor, purchased new tile, and re-installed everything. We now have straight, properly squared floor tile in the bathroom. This re-do unfortunately extended the project schedule by twice the amount of time it was supposed to take, so instead of being complete in 4 weeks, it took 8. This was the most frustrating part of our experience, but we got over it when we saw the final result. We went from '80s shag carpet (yes, the previous owners installed shag carpet IN the bathroom!) to a beautiful, modern, clean-lined bathroom. It is a huge improvement! The owner of the company was professional about everything and did not give us any push-back when we complained about the crooked floor. He took care of it at no cost to us, which is exactly what he should have done. So we give them kudos for that. We may hire them back to do our downstairs guest bath in the future.

Brent remodeled my bathroom and did a great job. He is being hired again to remodel my nieces' bathroom. He spent time with us picking out the tile and showing us ideas, which are very good ideas. He even spoke to my niece on the phone for her opinion. I highly recommend him.

No one every told me that there would be a 1 inch difference between my new granite counter tops and back splash and that the granite installers would not be responsible for this difference. I called Joe at Stone and Tile works early Friday morning with my problem. I was worried that water would get down in the open area. He came on his day off and gave me several options to finish this area off. We decided on putting grout in the area and he left to get the supplies need including a hose that goes between my dishwater and deposal that the plumber told me i needed to get before he could finish the job( another story). He spent the afternoon putting in grout that would protect the area from water. Ann came back two more times a week apart to put more grout in and fill the cracks. She also cleaned the grout in the back splash so it matched the new grout. Thank you Joe !!! You saved the day. Will hire you to clean the floor tile in the future or any tile work.

They were friendly, punctual and helpful. The work not only came in on time and on budget, but it was also beautifully done.

This guy was just amazing! I would rate him an A Plus for everything.

I had been mulling over what to do with the eyesore of a fireplace in my home. It looked like a dark pit from a basement. The room needed to be lightened up. I received Tile and Stone Works of NM name from InterTile (?) and decided to call Brent. He came over and evaluated the project. He gave me a great deal of advice and listened to what I wanted the finished result to be. I couldn't be happier. It is now the lovely focal point of the room. I was very nervous, but he is the consumate professional. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone having any kind of stone or tile work done. Linda Horanburg
