Rio Rancho Painting

This all started when I saw some granite offered for a good price on Craigslist by a woman named Jonna. I was interested in purchasing it but I did not have any way to move it, so Jonna said there is a handyman she knows who can move it, which is Ron. I also needed some handyman work done so I called him for some estimates. Jonna told me that she thought he had some mental problems, maybe ADD, so I was a little leary about hiring him in the first place. I initially asked Ron to look at the granite Jonna was selling since they live close together so he could give me an estimate for how much it would cost to transport it 10 miles. We set an appointment and he wound up arriving two hours early without having looked at the granite so he could not give me an estimate for that. My house is being renovated so it does not look very nice on the inside right now. I let him in and asked for an estimate for replacing bulbs and rewiring ceiling fan lights above my bed and installing a medicine cabinet in the bathroom, as well as a few other things. He said he could do electrical work as well, but according to Angie's List records, it appears his license for electrical contracting is expired. When I showed him the ceiling fan light, he jumped up on my bed against my protest in order to check it out and he broke the wooden bed frame. I asked him to get off of it and he completely ignored me. Then we moved on to the bathroom, which happens to be where I keep the litter box for my cat. Since Ron arrived two hours early, I did not have time to clean out the litter box before showing him where I would like the medicine cabinet installed. When he saw the dirty litter box, his attitude completely changed. He became very rude with me. I texted him afterward wanting to know if he would still be getting estimates. He never responded. A couple of weeks later, an agency showed up at my house saying they had a complaint about the health and safety of someone in the home. After the people left my home, I called their supervisor and they said someone who had been to my home said it was in disrepair and that I was covered head to toe in feces. That is absolutely untrue and I found it very offensive. It must have been Ron who said that because no one else who had been to my home recently would complain like that. Jonna told me he has some kind of mental problem, and this is proof. I later called Jonna about the granite and my experience with Ron and she claimed she had sold the granite and rushed to get off the phone because she was at work. I cannot believe the experience I had with this man and that he would slander me like that to an agency. He claimed to be accredited with the BBB, but he does not have any information available on that site.

Ron arrived on Wednesday the 11th after he was called by my roofing company. He inspected the damage and gave the estimate to the roofing company manager. He and his crew arrived Thursday morning to begin the repairs. The dry wall work was done then, and they came back the next morning to apply the popcorn texture. After it was dry, They painted it with some ceiling paint that I had. I have a speaker system that is hung from the ceiling. They kept the wire coming through the drywall, and when the work was done, they rehung the speaker for me. Every attempt was made to keep the dirt contained in one area, and tho everything was pretty dusty, I think they did a great job. This was some of the best work I have had done in all the years I have lived in Albuquerque. I also asked Ron the trim down the width of a workbench in my garage, and he came back on Saturday and did that job for me. He did the trimming, cleaned up all the saw dust and hauled away the piece he trimmed off. Great work.
