ceramic tile, remodeling
+ 0 moreMario is great with geometry--the cuts he did on the tile were amazing, his sense of proportion and lay-out were great. He did a good job on plumbing and reconstruction of the wall we had him cut down, as well as installation of the dishwasher and microwave. He fell short on getting the floor and countertop tile level, and the countertop isn't level. Plus, the grout and one tile cracked within weeks of the job completion, and it was very difficult to get him to come back and repair it. When he finally came back, he repaired the cracked grout but forgot to replace the cracked granite tile. I became very frustrated with his responsiveness, and we're stuck with an expensive kitchen countertop that isn't level. He had lots of excuses for the floor tile not being level, but there is no excuse for the countertop because HE BUILT IT! The job looks nice on the surface, but I sure wish we had gotten a higher quality job for the money we spent.
Description of Work: The date is a guess -- it was 5 or 6 years ago. M.L. Leyba put down Italian porcelin tile in kitchen, den and laundry room. Cut down wall in Kitchen, put in new countertop (granite tile), porcelin sink & new plumbing, new dishwasher, over-the-range microwave (vented to the outside) and replaced pantry door.

+ 3 moreI felt the work went very well and would use them again when the need should arise. Also would reccomend them to others, which i seldom do, because people dont seem to care about their work enough to put my name on the line for them.
Description of Work: The contractor came in and performed multiple tasks was very efficient, completed the drywall and tile as well as general handy man services. After they removed all the demolition items they quickly worker to make the necessary repairs to return the job in quality status.
