Mark and his assistant arrived on time and conducted himself very professional. He gave education regarding the type of stove that we purchased. Mark was curteous and friendly. We were very impressed that Mark called the following day to follow-up and make sure that our stove was working properly. We highly recommend Mark as he is very detailed orineted, worked hard and the service was reasonably priced. We already have various plumbing jobs that we would like for Mark to do. Do not hesitate to call Mark for all your plumbing needs!

Thanks to Angie's list. I have found an excellent plumbing and heating contractor. The best I have ever had. Mark's professional ability and advice was just exactly what I needed. I called Mark about 2:30 in the afternoon. He picked up the phone on the second ring - no "leave a message" nonsense. He was very knowledgable about our problem, knew exactly what was wrong, what kind of a fixture we had, its quality and how it should be fixed. He said he would do his best to work us in either today or tomorrow but it might be next week depending on the jobs he already had scheduled. By the time I arrived home at 4:30, they were just about done replacing the faucet. I was completely blown away by how responsive he was. The two gentlemen couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They did a beautiful job, made sure everything was in apple pie order and were on their way. I would recommend this company to anyone. It would have been a very difficult weekend without being able to use the kitchen sink and they went out of their way to make sure we didn't have to go through that. You couldn't ask for more. I'd also like to mention how helpful the Angie's List customer service representative was. After my husband called me with the news about the broken faucet, I called the toll-free number as I was at work and my password was at home. The rep looked up a number of plumbers in our area and gave me the name and phone numbers of 3 of them. Mark's was the first one. The rep was extremely helpful and thorough - only giving me A rated companies. This is actually the first job we have had done by an Angie's List recommended company. It won't be the last. Everything worked out great.

I had a leak from the water heater 9-5-2012. I called, Mark was out of town but left 2 numbers to call. I called one the numbers, Jason replied. He came out the next morning at 5:45 AM, fixed the leak. He was professional, diagnosed the problem immediately, met my time constraints and had a great sense of humor. Mark came out when he returned from vacation to examine the damage and the recommendations from the insurance adjuster. He was very honest. He could have made a lot of money but told me I didn't need to remove the water heater and furnace, remove all the drywall, etc. I was sold on this company. I used Mark's plumbing twice more for 2 more leaks. The 2nd leak, in October 2012, was under the house. They fixed it without having to jack hammer the floor, that was a great relief, because they had the tools to do so without damaging my home. He even gave me a discount, because insurance did not cover this repair. The 3rd leak was in November 2012 while I was on vacation. Mark came out immediately, we have yet to determine where this leak originated but the refrigerator ice maker line is the culprit. He did not charge me for this visit. I will use Mark's Plumbing for every plumbing/heating/A/C issue I have. He is dependable, very knowledgeable, honest and funny.

One of the bearings in my evaporative cooler was leaking oil, so I called a couple A List Heating & A/C service providers. I received the best quote over the phone from Mark Clem. Mark was very professional and personable. Mark was able schedule the appointment right away. Mark showed up early! Mark and his assistant replaced both bearings, checked the belt, and adjusted the belt tension. Mark discovered that the blower pulley had been installed incorrectly, and so he also fixed that. They did the job in less than an hour! Our cooler runs smooth and quiet - like new again!

Excellent from start to finish. I called Mark (from Angies List), told him what we wanted, and he came out to look at our situation the next day. We had an outside faucet that was leaking, and also wanted to install a new hose bib tapped into the hard water (the other was connected into our house water softener). He told us he could repair the leaky faucet, and could install a hydrant style hose bib that would tap into the hard water of our irrigation system. His quote was the best of three we received, and he seem confident with his work (he was actually the only one who suggested we 'fix' the old faucet, others wanted to remove it which would have caused additional repairs), so we decided to use him. When I called to schedule, he was able to come at my convenient time, and completed the work with a helper in a very timely manner. The original faucet no longer leaks, and the new hose bib works great, so we are very happy! We will definitely call on Mark again for any future plumbing or heating needs. He's honest, professional, and knows his stuff.

I was very happy with the work they did. My heater went out in the beginning of winter. I called out the end of they day and he showed up and did a wonderful job. He was quick to respond, very professional and systemically went through everything that could be wrong with my unit until he was able to find out what was wrong. He could not resolve the problem that day and was very apologetic he was going to leave me in the cold that night. He showed up promptly the next morning, quick to repair it and was reasonable in price. He was very nice and very nice to my little dogs. He told me my unit was not energy efficient and I have plans to get a new unit. When I do he told me to call him and he could recommend the best ones for my needs.

They came over within an hour of our call, cleaned the filters and checked the unit, determined we had a bad valve, but did not have one, had to order it. The next day he and another employee came to install it. I did not feel it was working correctly the next day, and they came right out to check the until, at no charge.

The stress of the problem was relieved when I made the call and he assured me he could come asp. He was pleasant and business-like. I was grateful because the local, self-employed plumber I'd used for years is no longer working and through Angie's List I was able to find a another plumber of similar background very quickly.

It went very well. Came when he said knew what to do and did it.

Mark was very knowledgable and did exactly what he said he would do. I was pleased with furnace he offered,the installation and the cleanliness of the job. He started when he said he would and finished when he said he would. All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend him.

Wow! On time, understood the problem, and could fix it. We called two other companies to look at our heater and water softener and they wanted to send two crews and charge us travel time for both crews. One company did not call us back. Mark did it all. Will not call anyone else. He was easy to work with and cares about customer service.

Mark was able to quickly troubleshoot and repair my heater in under an hour. Service is prompt and always very high quality (he's also done plumbing work for me). No need to worry about spending money on parts that are unnecessary. Hire him with confidence!

I called Mark's Plumbing & Heating and described to Mark the re-occurring problem that I was having with the furnace in the mobile home that I just recently purchased. The problem was that the pilot light wouldn't stay lit and that a thermocouple had been replaced, twice, in the last week. Whenever the pilot light went out I had no heat. After hearing my quick description of the problem he said that a bad thermocouple could definitely cause the pilot light to go out and prevent the furnace from working, but that a new thermocouple should last for many years. He said it's possible that both thermocouples were defective but that would be quite unusual. He said he would have to check it out to find the exact cause of my problem. We made an appointment for a few hours later and he showed up exactly on time. After checking the furnace he determined that the gas valve was defective and needed replacement. However after talking with him about the problem, and discussing the fact that the home, and the furnace, are 35 years old, he said that if he replaced the gas valve I would have heat, but with so many other parts also being 35 years old the possibility of more problems showing up in the near future was very high. This type of furnace was designed to last for about 20 years. After a short discussion with Mark I decided that it be smarter to "bite the bullet" and have the entire furnace replaced rather than spend $300 - $400 now, to replace just one part, and nervously wait for the next part to fail. We scheduled an appointment for the next day, and again he showed up right on time. Mark, along with one assistant, removed the old furnace, made the necessary accomodations for a new, computer controlled, high efficiency furnace, and they completed the entire job in less than two hours. Their work was very professional and clean and it was very obvious to me that they knew everything they had to know to do a proper, and safe, furnace replacement. If I could, I would give Mark's Plumbing & Heating a rating of AAAAAAAAAA. The customer service the Mark provided me with was absolutely top notch. After having been in a service business myself for 45 years, and being successful primarily due to the high quality of customer service that I provided to my customers, I think that I'm a good judge of what excellent customer is, and I must say that Mark's customer service is probably unbeatable. If I need a plumber in the future I will absolutely call Mark, and if he's busy and can't come for a few days I will no doubt wait for him rather than taking my chances on dealing with someone else. I also recommend that if you need a plumber, and you happen to live in the Albuquerque area, that you give Mark a call. I'm sure you'll be happy that you did.

Excellent job. Came when promised. I was told by another local contractor that this item needed to be replaced. That contractor told me on two separate occasions that they would contact me to set up a time but never did. Mark has done several repairs for me and all have been excellent.

Mark answered the phone himself and gave me an appointment for the next day (I had called from work and couldn't meet that day.) He was timely and assessed the problem right away. A part had to be found, so he contacted several places to locate it and managed to get it on a truck to arrive the next day because the part wasn't locally available. He returned to my home and did all of the prep work that day, so the final work was really quick the next morning. He also gave me a follow up call to make sure the unit was working well.

I had a clogged drain on a kitchen sink that I had tried to clear myself by first plunging, and then removing the trap. I called Mark; he answered his own phone, which was refreshing. He estimated a time that he could arrive, just a few hours from the time of my call, and said he would call when he knew more about his schedule. He called me back twice: once to say that he could be there at about 10:30 am, which was just about 90 minutes after my initial call. Then he called on his way to say when he was arriving. He showed up at 10:00 am, a little more than an hour after I called him. (I live in NE Albuquerque.) I was impressed by his communication, and also by his promptness. The drain was difficult to clear, even with the right equipment. Mark and his assistant snaked the drain repeatedly, eventually all the way to the main. Mark also did a complementary repair of the faucet. Mark charged a few dollars more than a couple other companies I called, but his availability made it well worth it. We would have spent all day waiting for one of the larger companies to arrive. Mark and his assistant were pleasant, professional and fast, and they arrived earlier than initially estimated.

Mark is great! He answered the phone himself and with my permission, went to my home while I was at work to look at my swamp cooler and give me an estimate for it's replacement. I had been told by another company that my cooler had badly rusted blades and it was best to replace it. When I later talked to Mark on the phone, he said my cooler was fine, it just needed a good cleaning and should be good for a few more seasons! This honest man saved me over $1,600.00, which is what the other company wanted. Mark also told me about a better swamp cooler that only uses one pad. When I need a new swamp cooler, I will certainly have Mark do it...he has all of my plumbing, heating and cooling business for as long as he is around! I am recommending him to all of my friends and family. Thanks, Mark!

Showed up on time, ready to work. Using the proper tools opened the clogged drain. Cleaned the job site and prepared an invoice showing accomplishment. Professional in every way.

Mark came over on time and assessed our situation. He made one phone call to his supplier and made arrangements for me to go look at a shower pan. I went the next day and liked it. Mark picked it up that day and delivered it to us. He gave us a few hints about installing it and we will be recommending him to our friends from here on. He is knowledgable, professional, and an honest guy.

Came out same day as I called to service our heater, we had smelled gas. Needed a new part which he did not have, did get us checked out for safety and warm thru the night , returned the next day to complete the work. Arrived when he said and did a great job.

I have known Mark Clem since before he went independant. I have used him for every plumping issue I have had. From installing new toilets, broken water lines, replacing fixtures, and other things I can't think of right now. This guy will go above and beyond.. He is not the cheapest in town, but his prices are reasonable, and in my opinion he is one of the best. For this job, as usual he answers his own phone. As luck would have it he was working a job nearby so could come over same day. He was on time, he and his assistant went right to work. He noticed the shutoff for the water line was dripping so installed a new one in a snap. Mark and his helpers are always neat and professional. He has always been on time, except if a situation on another job has problems, but he calls and lets me know he will be late. He offers advice on how to prevent future plumbing problems also. He is a pleasent person to deal with and seems to just plain love his job. He is a problem solver and knows his stuff. I had an emergency late at night, and though he is not a 24 hour service, he talked me through mitigating the problem and got back to me the next day. I felt bad for calling him on his off hours though.

They showed up to assess the situation immediately and tried to make time to respond with the work that afternoon. A problem on another job meant they could not get back that day, but they called as soon as they knew to make alternative arrangements. By the time I got up the next morning at 7:30 there were several holes already dug to find the leak. They were professional, pleasant to deal with , and tried hard to respond in as timely a manner as possible.

Mark and his service people were all very profesional, articulate and concerned. He even liked our dogs!
