handyman service
+ -1 morefrom onset work did not progress very well. Rebar inspection failed. Cement co adv that his ck had bounced. Rio Rancho inspectors found 10 violations. Argued with inspectors. inspectors adv me that if his attitude continued they would fail the construction. Drywall did not fit properly becuase framing was done improperly. Could not finish stucco due to lack of funds. I finally had to pay for stucco. I ended up paying an additional $1000 for work he did not finish or did not do properly. I would not hire this marginal "handiman" for anything. He does not know the construction business. I have documentation for all his shoddy work

+ -1 moreI would not recommend this contractor for any work other than trash removal. By all means, if you should hire him, do not pay him until work is done and have your attorney look at his contract. Do not hire this unprofessional company. You will regret it. He is also racially biased often referring to contractors with derogatory comments about their ancestory.
Description of Work: 430 sq ft addition to our home. From beginning to termination of their services, the quality, professionalism and promptness of their work was very poor. Concrete work did not pass inspection. Rebar not done correctly and width not to code. Corrected, but quality of concrete was very poor. Framing inspection brought 10 code violations from basic gap in osb to not having ancho bolts at critical points. Most violations were basic code requirements that any competent contractor would have known. He even argued with the Rio Rancho City Inspectors arguing that they were wrong. Ulitmately he corrected all discrepancies. Because his framing was poor the drywall did not install very well, causing uneven drywall sheets. Roof work was so poor that a professional roof company was hired to correct over 10 water leaks. Water seaped into existing house causing further damange. He would not authorize the stucco work so owner finally had to do hire someone to do it. Two of his suppliers stated that his checks were not good. One even stated that his check had bounced.
