Once again, Harold did a fantastic job. Never any complaints with his excellent service. He returns your call the same day, sets up appointment for estimate and arrives to start painting when he says he will. What would have taken my husband four days to paint, Harold did in a few hours. Believe the reviews. This is the painter you’re hoping to find. We could not be more delighted with every aspect of Harald’s work. I thought the walls in the house we had just bought were in good shape until Harald found so many minor (minor to me-not to him) nail holes, dings, uneven paint, drips and drabs of all sorts. He meticulously and expertly restored every imperfection because he will not paint over somebody else’s sloppy work. This man takes his work seriously and personally, as as true craftsmen do. If you’re looking for a painter to simply change the color of your walls for a low price, there are lots of choices. But if you want your rooms to look like new from every angle, for a very fair price, Harald stands above the crowd. He far exceeded expectations and I gladly recommend Harold with no hesitation.

Wow! Harald did an awesome job. I am a very picky person and usually do all my own painting. This project was more than I wanted to take on. He exceeded my expectations and was just as picky as I am. He cleaned up at the end of each day so we still had the use of our house. He even took some time to interact with our 2 cats

Excellent. I received 3 bids for the project. One was so low that I don't think that he understood the difficulty of the work while another bid so high that he didn't want the job. Harald protected all the woodwork, stairs and other items not to be painted, left no paint on the woodwork. He very carefully added joint compound or sanded high spots to make them perfectly smooth. As mentioned previously, his work in the stairway was particularly difficult, but did a great job. He was very prompt; always showed up when he said he would. Every day he cleaned up his work areas.

OCD is good when painting. He was meticulous about fixing nail pops and holes in the wall that need to be plastered. He is the painter we have had and we have had a few. His price for the job matches the quality. Yes you could get cheaper painters but I doubt they will be as good as Harald. He did approximately 450 sq ft and the walls were 9 feet tall with Benjamin Moore Aura paint, two coats. Nice to find someone who cares about their craft.

We had Harald come in and paint the ceiling after we scraped all the popcorn texture off our main floor. He did a fantastic job! We tried painting it ourself at first and it just wouldn’t go on evenly. Harald came to the rescue, thank goodness. He met me Monday even and painted everything that following Thursday morning and was done by noon. I would definitely recommend him and will continue to use him in the future!

Harald is awesome. When i first contacted him for a quote, he was very responsive and made it to my place within just few days. He reviewed the work (which was to paint the master bedroom, master bath, master closet, entry and living room) and immediately provided a quote. I had 2 other painters come and they took days to provide the quote. He was also very flexible and accommodating. We were leaving for vacation from Thursday to Monday and wanted the painting done while we were gone. Harald came on Wed and put furniture movers under the large beds and dressers so he could move the furnture by himself on Thursday. I did not even have to move the furniture and he took care of it all. While on vacation, Harald, provided pics and regular updates and we came home to a very well done work.

Harald deserves an A+. We've used him before and each time he has done incredible work. We wouldn't think of hiring anyone else. I don't think Harald would ever overcharge for his work, as a matter of fact when we asked him to do a small repair on a wall that wasn't in his original quote, not only did he do the repair but he painted the entire wall -not that it was a large wall but he wouldn't take anything extra for it.

Harald painted the exterior of our house. He was professional and wonderfully attentive to detail. He went above and beyond to ensure that the job was truly done properly and well (ex. removing old, never-used Christmas light hooks). I strongly recommend and will definitely use Harald in the future!

Mr. Christiansen was very civil, and answered promptly when I initially contacted him. He is came out within a few days to estimate the job. He indicated that he was booked ahead, so it would require a wait before he could get to our project. After obtaining another estimate, and meeting another painter, we decided to wait until he was available. He came as scheduled, and worked rapidly but professionally. We had selected the colors; he ordered and picked up the paint, and started at the date and time he said; worked on our project until it was finished. He completed the job professionally and with clean lines and a well-cleaned up workspace.

Harald did a fabulous job. He prepped the walls by filling all holes, scrubbing walls, before applying the new paint. He even fixed a grilled that was loose on the my wall. I will definitely call him again for future work. He was very quick to respond and start the job.

This is my 3rd time using Harald’s services and as always, he does a quality job! After having him previously paint the master bathroom and bedroom, main floor living room and basement; the entry room and hallway just looked dull and dark. So again, Harald came out and freshened the look with an impeccable paint job. It took several coats due to the previous darker color but all the nail pops and picture frame nail holes are smoothed over as though they were never there. Harald’s work is quality, he’s prompt, courteous and has high integrity in his workmanship. That’s why I’ve used him repeatedly...I already have another project for him to work on! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services!

The experience with Harald was nothing less than exceptional. Easy to work with, excellent workmanship and very neat and clean. I have receommended him to a neighbor and wanted to hire him for my girlfriends residence but he was very busy and I could not wait...In retrospect I wish I had. His price was reasonable and always on time and kept me up to date on progress and any issues.

It went great! He was very easy to work with. His communication was great and he was always there when he said he would be. We are very happy with the work that he did, and we will be sure to hire him again for future painting needs. We definitely recommend him!

Harald is incredibly responsive. He was booked solud and did rhe work on Friday night and Saturday. I used Harald to paint the exterior of my house in 2015 and he also did a great job.

FANTASTIC!!! This is the second project Harald has done for me this spring, and I am even more impressed with his professional work than the first project (of which was perfect as well). Harald has taught an old 71 year old man, that not all paint is the same. He is very careful to obtain the exact right paint, for each individual project. The exterior lamp post was clearly a disaster, as the original paint was peeling and chipping seriously. Aluminum is not an easy material to get good adhesion, even when it is new. This post is more than 20 years old, and had been an embarrassment for several years. After Harald's work of prepping and painting, it actually looks better than it did new. His work on the columns/door trim was also outstanding. You will not find another painter that is so easy to trust in such a short time. Leaving Harald alone in your house is no concern. This man is extremely honest and shows great integrity. He also cleans up everything so perfectly before leaving. I have one project for Harald yet this year, and probably several more in the future. I only wish that I had met Harald before this spring.

It went great. Harald is extremely easy to work with. He is extremely fast to respond to texts, phone calls, etc. My initial experience was so positive, that I have hired him for a second project, and did not even bother to get any other estimates. He truly understands paint, and the brand, style, texture, etc. to select the most appropriate product, for the job. He is very professional, and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend Harald, and will continue to use him in the future.

I found Harald on Angie's list because he had such exemplary reviews on the site. They are ALL well represented and deserved! Harald is incredibly responsive, attentive, and thorough in his work. My home was 5 years old so I had several dozen nail pops and settling cracks that Harald took care of through out his work. He was incredibly professional and polite. It was a 3-day project, each day he cleaned up the work areas and would let me know the area of focus the following day. He even spent time making my dogs feel comfortable :) Harald will be coming back to do some exterior painting! I highly recommend Harald!
