FOX Construction

They were always prompt or called if being late. They worked very hard which is very unusual, in my opinion, about anyone you have these days. When I called for their references, they were all incredible. The work was excellent. They are willing to come to the area where I live which is so unusual and was delightful. I'll be having them back to do some more work soon.

I took 4 bids on this work. Fox Construction was not the lowest bid I was given, yet Matt, the owner. impressed me with his attention to all of the details of services that must be performed to do the job properly. Indeed, for the services performed, the price paid was reasonable. I had thought about replacing the deck and the fence, but Matt pointed out that the support beams under the deck had rotted after 40 years to the point that the entire structure would have to be replaced. To his company's credit, he advised that repairs could have been performed, but these repairs would only have a useful life of 5 years, and he could not warranty it. I appreciated his honesty throughout the entire project. As a DIY'er, I have 10 thumbs, yet I could ask Matt any question about the project and would be given an honest and patient answer. I elected to have this area demolished for now, as I am unsure what I choose to do with it. When I make the decision, Fox Construction will be awarded the job. All of the work performed was 1st rate. In fact, for any home improvement projects on the horizon, this is the company that I will call. Trust is elusive with contractors at times, but now that I have a history with this company, I will show my loyalty and appreciation by supporting his business with future projects.

Went fairly well. One grab bar not quite horizontal. After job I observed poor drainage. Felt that worker should have put protective
cover on floor of shower to catch drill filings.

It was very nice to be able to be able to trust someone to get the job done, and done right! He did a better job than I'd even expected, and charged less than others would have. We just gave him a call, gave him the keys to the house, and met him a few days later to see the work and pay him. Very easy and fast, I am extremely pleased.
