The final product is perfect and functional. The process was upsetting. Form Cove Manufacturing is not transparent about the process on their end like taking my payment without telling me that I will wait two weeks for them to start my counter top manufacturing. They have a standard two-week holiday break that caused the delay. I feel that they should have given me the option to pay after their break. I am glad that my credit card was a zero percent on purchases at the time of purchase, so that I was not paying interest on that two-week wait. I had to contact to get my first payment receipt, which I felt they doubted that it was not sent to me promptly at the time of my first payment. I reminded the order technician that a second detailed measurement needed done. I was not sure if someone was going to do that measurement. Then, I got an in-the-moment call to allow them to do the second measurement. It was good that I am working from home to allow them am impromptu access to measure. Form Cove was several days late on delivering the final product from the latest date that they projected for installing my countertop. There was no phone call to give me an update. I am glad this project with Form Cove is done. It was frustrating having to be the initiator to get information like my first payment receipt, and a second measure to make a template. I have other projects to do that I can order from Form Cove. I will first research alternatives to manufacturers before I settle to choose Form Cove again.

We didn't have as good a look with this company. They've been around for a long time and we were pretty disappointed. When they were enlarging the shower, they jackhammered through our outside wall which if they had caught it but they didn't. We just happened to be outside when they were still working in the bathroom and we saw the hole in the wall so that was not too good. I think they were kind of high in pricing but considering what had to be done, we didn't know that they had to do all that like jackhammer the existing cement around the existing pan and we didn't know they were going to do all of that. We were just a little disappointed and we also ordered a new vanity and they also put that in. We ordered a high one and when it came in it was the lower one and they claimed that we had ordered the lower one and I just didn't get a good feel from the sales representative. He wasn't easy to work with, he was accusing us of ordering the wrong thing and not being happy with it. You know what you ordered and you know what you want. The quality is okay, I really don't have any qualms about the quality. The problem was when they made one of the walls evidently cracked before they got it here so that extended the work time. What they said that it's going to be 2 days actually turned into more than 8 days. It wasn't quite what we had anticipated. We would be expecting them early and their company is union so if you've got somebody coming in to do the plumbing, he comes and that holds up everything until he comes. If he's on another job they have to wait which means you have to wait and that extends your whole time of being without a bathroom because they have to take the toilet out. The workers were great but they did punch a hole in our door and they didn't say anything. I would not use them again.

The demolition was done on time with no damage done to the adjoining bathroom areas. Dust containment could have been better thus minimizing dust to adjoining bedroom. Plumbing (contracted portion) was done on time and went well. Drywall and Marble installation was professionally done. Great professional job. Shower door installation was accomplished on schedule and well. The project was completed in four days and well within the 3 -5 days quoted. However with improved scheduling the project could have been easily completed in three days. This is not a complaint - only an observation. I was very pleased with Form Cove Mfg. and will likely use them again.

The crew was very professional and the work was excellent. I would definitely use them again.

I had this company give me an estimate on new kitchen countertops and converting my bathtup to a shower. I scheduled the work for the countertops. I found that I needed to change the installation date and called the office to make the change which they said would be fine. The day before the new date I called and they had not made the change and I had arranged for the day off. They did make arrangements to accommodate the new date. The demo of the old countertops went well and the insallers showed up early which was nice. However,when they got to the cutout for the slide-in stove,they did not have the measurements. After using some measurements from the stove manual, the stove would not fit so they called to get the measurements from the old countertop. The stove still would not fit and it was ultimatley found that the stove was bent after having been moved and would not fit correctly in the countertop. Wiring must have also been damaged as the entire top got hot when using one burner. I had to purchase a new stove. I told the company that I did not expect them to pay for the stove but I wanted them to be there when it was delivered to make the necessary adjustments to the countertop. They were not available when the stove was delivered so I had to pay an additional amount to the stove installer to complete the cut out of the countertop for the new stove. In addition, the company does not use anything but white caulking even if countertop is up against dark cabinets so I had to purchase my own clear caulk. When the installer did come later on the day of the stove insallation I asked him to apply the caulk that I purchased, which he did. I sent a letter to the company explaining what I did like and the problems I encountered as well as comments their people made to me that I found unprofessional. I have not had any response from them regarding my concerns. Under the circumstances I expected that they would at least offer to deduct the cost of the delivery and installation of the stove as well as the additional cost I had to pay to make the countrertops work. That would have only amounted to about $270 but would have shown good will on their part. Even though the countertops look great, I would not recommend this company, nor will I use them again, because they have chosen not to address any of these issues and have not had the courtesy to contact me at all.
