Never received any response to my calls on two separate days

Never happened. Very disappointed.

Matthew picked up my computer from my home and did an analysis. He told me that my old computer was fried - either the motherboard or the chip was damaged and couldn't be repaired with no guarantees that replacement parts would work. If I bought a new computer he offered to meet me and take the new computer and swap the hard drive, the power supply and any other peripherals that would work to the new computer. He then dropped off my new computer at my home with everything working and all my personal data restored - all for $75!! He did a great job and went out of his way to provide over-the-top service for one flat fee.

Matthew has always been extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He is prompt and accurate in his work and his prices are very reasonable. The issues have always been fixed the first time. He is honest and has told me when a unit would cost more to fix than replace, and has tried to keep his cost low. When he replaced a drive for me, he spent extra time researching the best price for the part that was needed before we agreed to order it. I have never had a single complaint, disappointment or frustration when dealing with him and would strongly recommend him to anyone.

His prices are very fair. Anytime I've ever had to use Matthew, he is very helpful. He comes to my house and picks up my computer; that's great service to me. He calls first to make sure I'm going to be here. He brings it back to me, plugs it in and makes sure everything is okay. When I have had to call him on the phone, he is very helpful in answering my questions and emailing me possible fixes. There was one time when I was headed out of town, lightning struck and took out my computer. He was very honest with me and said that it really wasn’t worth fixing. So I like his honesty. He's a good guy. I will continue to use him in the future.

Mathew Raikes was on time for his appointment to assess the problems I was having with my computer. He performed tests and found that the problems I had experienced were no longer evident. He explained a couple of possibilities for the difficulties I was having with my email account. Mathew checked my setup and made sure all was working well. He hooked up my external hard drive and set up an auto download to be performed nightly. Mathew was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. I was very pleased with the service provided and should I have additional problems, I will be calling on Mathew! I highly recommend Mathew and Darn-Computer for a positive computer repair experience.

He is excellent. We have told our friends about him. He is the guy to definitely come out and fix any computer needs. We are very happy with his services.

Mathew was great. I actually first called him a couple weeks ago when my old computer broke down. He looked at it but it could not be repaired and in any case we were planning to get a new computer. He pulled off all the data on the old computer and told me it could be installed on the new computer when we got it. We then bought a computer and called him to set it up but he immediately found a broken and faulty part that prevented him from proceeding. We rescheduled. Finally we exchanged the broken computer and got another one and set up the installation with Mathew. Mathew is totally prompt, unlike so many repair people you have to set aside a day to wait for. He came in the evening too, which was very convenient. Normally I would install it myself but since this was the first time we had wireless, I decided to call in help. I looked at the Geek Squad but they cost $200+ for installation and I had heard bad stories about them. I went on Angie's List and found Mathew was only blocks away from my house and he had good reviews. He arrived on time and installed the computer, wireless, programs, software, and data from old computer in about an hour and a half. He is very nice and clearly answered all the questions I had about the computer and programs he installed in language I could understand. We are totally pleased. If I have any issues or questions, I will be calling Mathew again and recommending him to friends and at work.

Excellent. Matthew was very prompt and very professsional. He even offered several possible fies over the phone before he came out. He picked up the laptop at my home and returned it less than 24 hours later. Problem solved! He also sent me an email telling me what to do if the problem ever occurs again.

Operating system became corrupted and my computer could not "boot-up". Mathew came by the house, picked-up the computer and had it back the next day. He salvaged all of my information from the hard drive and backed it up on an external drive. Then he fixed the operating system.

Matthew was very good and he did a good job. He is reasonably priced.
