Bryan Glas and his crew were great to work with. Bryan had good design ideas and was receptive to our ideas and questions. He was flexible in making adjustments during the job without nickel and diming us. His craftsmen - Brian, Zach, and Paul - were proficient, professional, courteous and friendly. They cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of the product. We will hire them again if/when we have appropriate work.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced deck material; strengthened deck foundation; built freestanding gazebo on deck; removed flagstone walkway and replaced with stamped concrete; constructed fences around propane gas tank and standby generator.

They removed the old counter top and backsplash tile. They arrived on time. They put drop cloths on the floor, and keep the surrounding area as clean as possible, were careful when removing the pieces from the house and cleaned up after they were finished. We talked with Bryan about the back splash and he offered many suggestions and recommended a tile store to go to. We went to the tile store and selected back splash stone and glass block. Bryan also suggested adding puck lights under the cabinets. The stone and glass block had to be ordered and Bryan stayed in contact with us and the tile company and was able to start work shortly after the stone arrived. They arrived on time to install the backsplash. Because of the spacing we selected there was an area below a shelf that looked off. Bryan suggested we put a granite shelf there and raise it up a bit so the stone and glass would match the rest of the kitchen. He measured and figured out how the shelf should be made and contacted Rocky Mountain Stone. RMS came out with 1 day to measure and 4 working days later they installed the shelf. Bryan came out later that same day and finished the backsplash work below the shelf. They were always on time, courteous and cleaned up after they finished. Bryan and Ed had GREAT ideas. The puck lights are very nice and really make the granite stand out. We also had a microwave that needed to be installed above the stove and he was able to do that work as well. I would definitely recommend Bryan for work and will use him again if we need more work done. He has very good ideas and was very willing to make the customer happy.
Description of Work: Rocky Mountain Stone contracted Bryan Glas, owner of Chrystele Homes, to remove our old counter top, approx 100 ft. and backsplash tile. We decided to contract him to do custom tile work for the backsplash. The demo work was included in the cost of the counter top the amount listed above was for the backsplash work.

This is work in progress. We have two very complicated bathrooms in a house with virtually no right angles. The bathroom remodel designs were very complicated, and drawing them very difficult due to the shape and construction of the rooms. After talking with several contractors, Bryan (owner of Chrystele) was the choice because of his ability to envision what we were describing, his insistence on making sure we were happy at every step along the way, and his willingness to take care of all aspects of the work. Plus, the quality at every step has been incredible. He and his staff have been incredible about cleaning up on a daily basis, they have been extremely courteous, have set-up outdoor sites for their cutting to minimize dust in the house (which are also closed up every evening). At each stage of the work, the next phase has been discussed and any discrepancies resolved in a professional and friendly manner. I have never found a contractor so easy to work with, nor felt that our interests were driving the project. While initially his quote was higher by quite a bit, discussion indicated that it included contingencies that were not in the competing quotes, and there have so far been no surprises. The cost has actually gone down as modifications have reduced the scope somewhat. So while the work is still in progress, I cannot say enough about the quality of what has been done, the courtesy of Bryan and his crew, the attention to detail, and our satisfaction with the progress. We have another bathroom left to do, and both together will be probably 6 wks work. We have been very impressed at how minimal the disruption to our home has felt -- something I can't say is common!
Description of Work: Complete tear-out and remodel (rebuild) of two interior bathrooms in a 1984 eccentric home with no right angles. Work has included creating a space for a shower in a room that previously was crowded with just a tub, and so far, the design is working well (work is in progress). Bryan, the owner, has demonstrated great creativity in helping to work with us to create the spaces we envisioned in a challenging outline.
