 + 0 moreWe were very happy with the results of Rick's work especially when everything worked the way we wanted right from the start and we haven't had any problems since. We will call on him again if needed.
Description of Work: Rick is very much the professional. He worked with the stone mason to remove an old bath tub and installed the new fictures in this newly created shower and wash basin. The previous plumbing had been done over twenty years ago and it took Rick's many talents to make our desires happen. The results were just what we wanted. At a later date he also installed some new fictures in another bathroom and this was complicated due to the poor design and leakage of the existing pipes. Rick solved all the problems and again we were happy with his work. We would definitely call upon him again when and if the need arises.

 + -1 moreWe call Rick every year to set up the swamp coolers and our cistern pump. Similarly, we have him come in the fall to get the coolers ready for the winter, remove the cistern pump and check on the furnace. He has done extensive work for us in the past with our water heater, replacing toilets and general trouble shooting. His work is top notch, his prices reasonable. He is a true professional.  + 0 moreIt was a difficult job because the plumbing had been neglected for several years by the previous owners. Mineral buildup hampered removal of the old plumbing and questionable previous plumbing techniques were everywhere. Rick had the skill necessary to handle all the surprizes and do things the right way. All the plumbing he placed is working properly and I would call upon him again if those services are needed.
Description of Work: I had a tub removed in the guest bathroom and a tile shower built. Rick installed the shower drane, changed the plumbing to accomodate the new shower head and valves. When the tile work was done he installed the new shower head and control handles. I also had new sink and counter top installed and he installed the faucets and drane. I also had a leak in a faucet in the master bathroom and he pointed out the bad condition of the shut off valves due to the poor maintenance of the previous owners. He did a great job of placing new shut off valves and faucets and we have been very pleased with the results of his workmanship. He was punctual, neat and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to call upon RS Mechanical in the future.

 + -1 moreRick was able to tell us what was wrong with all three things. Two previous plumbers had no clue. He gave an estimate on the spot. He was prompt both for the estimate and the work. He even came back today to remove the shower valve again so we could take photos of the cartridge causing the problem. We also didn't have to wait weeks for him to have time in his schedule. I'll use him again for any other plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Rick repaired the toilet and relocated a tub spout on a sunken tub. He also removed the exposed thermostatic shower valve and took it to Albuquerque to determine the maker and why it isn't allowing enough hot water to come out of the shower head.
