Elliott Brothers Drilling

We had contacted Elliott Brothers Drilling via phone and e-mail when we were in our information gathering process. There replies were very prompt. Communications went well, so we felt comfortable to proceed with having them drill our well. We've heard many horror stories about hiring bad contractors, so we were very cautious with the whole process. They did want about half up front, however, unlike some contractors we had spoken to, we were able to give that money when they were on our land, with the drill rig set up. Because of this, we were very comfortable handing that money over. They asked for $5000 up front. They were able to schedule a start date within two weeks after we agreed to hire them. We set up a time and place to meet and they were right on time. It was a father and son team, and they worked very well together. They were very pleasant and respectful of our land. My wife and I had spent quite a bit of time researching where to put our well, and had an exact spot in mind. They spent over 10 minutes lining up their drill rig to the exact spot, and I mean exact spot that we wanted. We were very impressed. The drilling went very well, and much quicker than we had expected (only two days to go 580 feet). And even better yet, thanks to their lining up with the spot we wanted drilled, we got a very impressive well with a flow rate of 20+ gallons per minute. They let us make all of the decisions of how far to drill and where, and we never felt pressured into doing something or buying something we weren't comfortable with. The only problem we ran into is they didn't have quite enough of the gravel pack to finish the sanitary pack. So, they did have to come back the next morning. My wife and I had to head home, but we felt completely comfortable to let them come in without us there to finish up. I would definitely recommend Elliott Brothers Drilling to anyone in the area.
